this bank is constantly offline/ unavailable to access account. Never have I used a bank that I could not access my account multiple times across multiple days, because of "maintenance." they need to get it together

My father has been a member of this credit union for years. Recently he has had some health issues so we needed to go into the Creedmoor branch to take care of some financial matters. Miss Wanda and the branch manager were so helpful, kind and patient with my 89 year old dad. They knew him by name and spent a lot of time explaining things to him. Miss Wanda even made suggestions on how dad could get a higher interest rate on his savings. We left very satisfied. My dad even gave Miss Wanda a hug.

I have had an account with CFCU since the early 2000s. I left briefly for one year when I moved to Florida and joined a credit union there. When I moved back to North Carolina I probably switched back to CFCU. I'm now living in southern arizona. I refuse to leave cfcu. They treat me like I am such a valued member even though I'm on Social Security disability. I absolutely love the customer service and the way that they don't charge fees for every little thing. If for some reason I do get a NSF charge it's one penny generally. These guys are just the greatest! There is no credit union here in Arizona that even compares because I've checked. So I will not be switching at any time for the remainder of my life.

I'm never using them again! I'm on medical leave from work waiting for short term disability to kick in. But right this moment no income due to the circumstance. They are unwilling to move 2 payments to the end of my auto loan for a hardship. Never had or heard of a bank not willing to do this under these circumstances.

They cleaned out my account. These people are thieves. I have never before deposited money into a bank only to come out with most of it gone. I would not trust them with a single penny.

The young lady at the front desk today was so nice and helped me set up my mobile account. She could also multitask because she was the only one up there when I came in and she was helping everyone. I’m glad I came to this location. I’ll be back?

I would not recommend coastal for anyone! They closed my checking account because it was in the negative for $41 too long which I understand. But someone decided just because of that, that they had the right to close my credit card also. Which I use and pay off frequently! I am a travel nurse and can definitely afford to pay my credit card, which I already do. I also have a $25,000 car loan through them which I pay on time faithfully! Where I stay there is no coastal near me so I forgot all about the negative checking account balance, and plus I don’t use the bank. I’m a faithful SECU member and they would never! Overall Coastal sucks. I am highly disappointed in the service.

I had a terrible buying experience at Lake Norman Hyundai back in late March with add-on's that I didn't want that were added to my car loan that ended up being financed through Coastal Federal Credit Union. I was fed the BS that the bank wouldn't do the deal because I wasn't putting any money down and that I had negative equity. I contacted the loan department through Coastal and asked for their assistance to contact the dealership for me and I was told that someone did. The issue is that the owner of the dealership responded to a bad review from me outlining instructions on how to cancel the extended warranty and gap...I don't need instructions. I just want to know why I wasn't given any further assistance on this matter. I asked for my payment to be pushed out since I have an active case with Hyundai Corporate or until someone could get the dealership to sign the paperwork that I sent the owner to cancel these add-on's. I don't feel that Coastal is being very accommodating due to my circumstances. I definitely feel like more could have been done taking into consideration all the issues from the dealership and non-compliance through the warranty company.

Visited this branch this week and could not be more pleased! James Hollingsworth met with me. He was patient. I didn't feel hurried and he fully explained some items I had questions about without being condescending or assuming that I knew more than what I knew! He was very easy to talk to. In fact, everyone I met was friendly and efficient. Mr. Hollingsworth and Tiffany followed up on every single item mentioned. I would highly recommend services of Coastal Credit to anyone.

Bianca, Relationship Manager, did an amazing job and best customer service I have experienced in a long time. She was able to multi-task multiple customers and make sure all attention to details were made properly. Great Job!!!

Please just save yourself and go anywhere except coastal. This place will nickel and dime you for everything and they will also make large charges onto your accounts with no permission at all. I have a loan through them that is roughly 200 a month. It was doubled because they didnt have proof of insurance. (Keep in mind that i was never contacted about this) i got proof to them and they still wont lower my payment until i pay their premium(4 more months) they also wont give me a refund. Also keep in mind that my insurance on my car is barely 90 dollars so where did they find insure for me at 200 dollars a month thats just insane. These guys dont care about their customers. Withing two months of having my truck i have an extra 1200 in insurance fees all because they wanted to screw me.
