I liked what they carried in the lower level, but honestly, prices there are higher than most.
The worst part is that it smelled awful. I think there is a mold issue somewhere. I had a headache by the time I left. I would only go back if they moved.

Truly a gem that many people may look past in Village District. The Cheshire Cat Antique Gallery is expansive and has options for anyone who walks into the doors. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful if looking for something in specific.

It’s more he vendors fault and less so Cheshire’s, but the records are over priced as all get out, what should be especially dollar bin vinyls are going for the price on new records. They have the vinyls so packed together with little organization it’s just exhausting to look through, and when you find something good, the cover is beat to death and is $20+ for something that’s easily 1-10$ at other record shops. They also have a cage and lock on “higher valued” vinyls that is legit just a Walmart pressing of Rolling Stones….
They need to de-clutter and liquidate the bs…

Recently bought 3 pieces of glass for myself and my mom. Store is located in the basement with no cell service to price check anything so I had to go off of what the lady was telling me. She was very kind and knowledgeable so I trusted her but come to find out after spending $425 on 3 pieces that are only appraised for (by multiple people) max $250. One was sold as being murano glass— which apparently it is not. This use to be my favorite antique store but will not return. Very disappointed because I could have saved so much money for my family and kids.

Lots of fun trinkets to look at, classic decor pieces, and a generally fun atmosphere. Definitely something for everyone.
It can get a little muggy on a hot day, but that is to be expected in a basement with as many people as there were the day I visited.
You'll have to check purses and backpacks at the counter, so leave it in your car if you can to save the hassle.

Very large selection of many lovely items! Some of the prices are a bit high and the place has a strange smell, but nothing too out of the ordinary for an antique gallery.

Have shopped here many times in the past. Yesterday was told I had to check my bag with my 2 new dresses I had bought minutes before. I reluctantly handed over my new clothes. The lady then said my purse was kind of big, I need to check that also. I wonder, if this store can't keep their stuff from being stolen, why should I feel comfortable leaving my wallet, car keys, cell phone etc. with them? We politely said no thank you, took my stuff back and left. Never to return.

They made my check her LoungeFly (small backpack purse) behind the counter at the antique store because I guess they have had thefts which I understand, etc
What I don't understand is why the guy didn't care to match my ID to my card and went along with the transaction when checking out....I even called him out on it...I said, my wife has to check her bag but you don't check my card, this could be stolen...
He finished the sale without checking and he said he has never heard of stores doing that before....well a lot of them do ?
There is probably more credit card fraud going on in your store that you know of and that is where the real theft is.
