Very impressed! My dog was neutered using the SPCA voucher program Wake County offers at a great price. Care First partners with them and I was so happy with how they handled my pup and how he healed up great. The vet even gave advice when I sent a photo in an email concerned about his stitches. I’ll be using Care First as my vet in the future. Thanks!

Unfortunately we had to put our sweet girl Carolina down. Care first was absolutely amazing.
First my 8 year old decided last minute he didn’t want to be in the room with her and they help keep an eye on him in the lobby while my husband and I went back with her. They then proceeded to handle everything with the utmost care and empathy. After, we had sweet “Carol” cremated at the same location. We received her ashes the same week with a nice paw print. In the following weeks we received a very sweet card and a beautiful flower arrangement. It was the sweetest thing! It has been a few weeks and we just received a letter in the mail from SPCA. They made a donation in memory of our baby girl.
This team is amazing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you!!!

The best vet I've been to in the triangle. My dog doesn't get along with most people and unlike the other vets I've gone to here, they're not afraid of him, they were gentle and respectful of his needs. My dog had a great visit, got treated for an ear infection, they kindly answered all my questions honestly and we were on our way. If you have a big reactive dog like I do, this is a really great place to bring your dog for care. I'm truly grateful for their help today.

My GSP was spayed at Care First and it was a great experience from booking the initial appointment all the way through recovery! The costs were reasonable, Dr. Mendise was fabulous and the support staff has been *extremely* helpful. I've sent a couple of emails post surgery with concerns about potential healing complications and both times I received a response back (in just a couple of hours) alleviating my concerns. Highly recommend!

The staff at Care First Glenwood are phenomenal. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for my family and I when it was time to say goodbye to my beloved Gertie. They were patient, compassionate, kind, and I am so very grateful.

I can’t say enough positive things about Carefirst at glenwood. They have been our primary vet since we moved to the Raleigh area. They were compassionate and kind when we had to put our senior dog down- they made it the best possible experience for us. A few months later we got a puppy that turns out has some anxiety/aggression issues. Everyone there has worked with us to make sure he is safe and cared for. We did classes with jasey that were super helpful and he even is able to attend day camp twice a week with no issues. Huge shout out to kat, the manger, who has personally taken so much time and effort to help our guy and make sure that the vet is not a place- quite the opposite- it is one of his safe places!

Dr Butler here is a wonderful veterinarian who takes her time and truly focuses on your pet. I can tell she is decent because my pet likes her too and he has final say!

Carefirst is the absolute best vet ever! I'm so pleased with them every time I take my dog there. The employees are very loving, caring & compassionate. I love the attention they give my dog and how they try to keep him relaxed since he does get nervous going to the vet. I highly recommend this place for all your pets needs. My mom and I both take our pets there and they always talk to us and see how we are doing. They will always ask me how my mom and her dog are doing. We recently moved over an hour away but I still make the drive there for my dog because they are the best!

I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and the entire staff. Our dog had to have emergency surgery and several days of intensive care which followed. Dr. Moats and Dr. Mendise called us several times every day, provided us with updates every step of the way, and answered every question we had. In the afternoon, we would go visit our dog and the Techs would make him very comfortable and let us stay with him as long as we wanted. My dog who was typically very nervous and anxious I could tell became very comfortable with the staff. Unfortunately, we had to eventually say goodbye to our dog. They stayed after hours so we could go see him one last time and be there with him at the end. As difficult as the week was for us, it was very comforting knowing that he was in excellent hands and taken care of when we couldn't be with him. I would 100% recommend this hospital, the Drs, the Techs, and the rest of the staff.
