Cabinets to Go Review
This review is not indicative of the quality of products sold but a pure reflection of the terrible service I received. My experience with Cabinets to Go (CTG) was the epitome of over promising and under delivering.
My sales rep, Porscher, promised and sold me on the premise of a new kitchen with a 2 to 3 week time frame. The cabinet installation contractor was great and, demolition/installation was executed promptly and flawlessly. However, the process took over 4 weeks when I was initially told by Porscher the cabinets were in stock, (hence the two week turnaround time.)
I spent 5 weeks without countertops and running water and had no use of my kitchen. Additionally, during the initial process I was given an initial estimate followed by the final quote after measurements were taken. Once the material arrived and was installed, I was short on hardware and molding to complete the job. CTG tried to charge extra for the shortage even though they were at fault. Additionally, they mistakingly gave my material to another customer causing further delay. None of this was communicated to me in real time, it was only after I asked the contractor about the material did he confirm their error. This resulted in multiple trips to CTG until he received the material.
Initially the countertops were not ordered and sat in pending status for over a month. After multiple calls to the company they finally confirmed they didn’t receive the order. The company that cut and installed the countertops caulked the spice drawer shut.
During this process I called our salesperson, Porscher several times and she stopped returning my calls. After payment was received I could no longer get a hold of her during the entire process where I morphed into a General Contractor for my home project.
I was considering having more work done using CTG, but after this experience I will NEVER use their services or recommend this company ever again. Please use this review as a warning DO NOT use this company

Porcher was phenomenal, she changed the design multiple times for us with out complaint. 10/10 recommend her.

I visited this company/location for a replacement cabinet for my laundry room. The cabinet measurements are approximately 5 feet long with a depth of approximately 2 feet. No counter top, sink, nor hardware was included. I was told that some assembly was required. “CABINETS TO GO, WOW FOR LESS.” Seriously! Look at the attached estimate and tell me what you think. I know what I think. I think ????.

We love our new kitchen and cabinets. Mary was our designer. She helped us a few times as we made some modification's. The cabinets are the Charleston collection driftwood. The price and style is exactly what we wanted. I recommend them for your next project.

The issue was resolved and we are happy with the response and resolution. Thanks! Previous review - (Extra charges for install and demo in the Raleigh office. After issues with the Install & demo changes error...the company agreed to our orginal contract agreement! Thanks to Porscher Griffin and Ryan Pike for their outstanding customer services!

We use cabinets to go or our last home that we had. Everything went well and had no problems. This time we use cabinets to go for our new home that we have now. The cabinets put together very easily. The design went very well. Although we had problems with our order and received the wrong order number, 1# 2, of the cabinets came in damaged which we had no problems with the warranty. They replaced the cabinets. 2# communication did not go very well when trying to get a pricing list on our items that we purchase. Had to keep going back to try to get the list of the cabinets that we purchase and the price. Cabinets to go and communicating with the countertop company did not go very well they were waiting for an ok on the price from Cabinets to go in which the price was already added in with the cabinets. I could never get a call back whenever I called them which sucks.

This is by far the worst professional experience I have had as a general contractor of over 20+ years. I have dealt with Mary and the manager Chris. Customer service does not exist here. I will never suggest this company to another client.

The issue got resolved and we are happy with the response and resolution. Thanks! Previous review - (Poor service from Mary in the Raleigh office. After issues with the counter top company we cancelled a portion of our order of almost $8,000 and cannot get adequate follow up from Mary to get our refund.)

I cant emphasize enough how professional, caring, patient, and respectful Porscher was throughout my design experience. Porsher put my needs and budget as a first priority over making a sale. I highly recommend anyone looking to remodel their kitchen to consult with the most amazing kitchen designer that I have ever coordinated with.

Porscher was super friendly and professional. She helped us design a beautiful kitchen and within our budget. I am really impressed with the staff and the product selection. We left with big smiles as our dream kitchen was becoming a reality and it was all so easy!
