“I’ve never had a Better online book buying experience! I got a personalized autographed copy from one of my favorite authors (Christopher Ruocchio) new book across the country in like a week from ordering! Amazing packaging too!”
“Excellent place to get books and other resources for your kids specially if you are homeschooling your kids. They have a large collection of used books too if you are on a budget. Even if your kids are public schoolers, this is a good place to get additional resources to help your kids learn quite easily. Pls try this place once and you will know what I am saying!!”

5959 Triangle Town Blvd Unit 2107, Raleigh“I can not say enough about this place!!! From the amazing and caring staff, all the way down to the wide selection of books (that’s all I come in here for, I’m sure they have records and stuff too!!!) They always welcome me with a warm smile and helpful attitude!! If you ever need to go to a Barnes and Noble, PICK THIS ONE!! You will not regret it!!! I promise!!!”
“I’d say this is my favorite Barnes and Noble in the area. They’re all pretty similar but this one has a decent selection of items and the layout is easy to navigate. Employees are very friendly too.”
“We have a dearth of used bookstores in the triangle, but this one almost singlehandedly makes up for it. Great selection and some really good deals on older books too.”
“This place is organized, and the staff is doing pretty good with their job. I know there is one cashier at the checkout, and I think we need four cashiers there I think. At least the employees are professional. I love the Starbucks there where I bring my McDonald's there after I shop at Crabtree. I'm not much of a book person as a hobby, but they also have plushies and figurines at the back, and board games which is cool. I don't mind going back, and I might buy a book or a comic there I think.”
“This place has a wonderful selection of books that are hard to get anywhere else unless you know where to look. Titles and authors from many small/independent publishers and university publishers, especially local and other southern universities. Great poetry collection including some self-published poetry books and zines! Overall a very thoughtful collection that I am glad to have in Raleigh.”
“We visited on the full a bag day for $20 and had an absolute blast. We've previously ordered online and love them. My son enjoyed solving the Rubik's cube while searching for books. Great selection. Cute kid area. Definitely coming back.”
“my favorite comic book store. fantastic staff. polite, friendly, and will take care of you and your comics! i come here on a weekly basis and am never let down. dan, emily, and trevor should be your go-to comic peps!!”
“The store itself is great, however I will say that parking can be a nightmare at times. Its much better to go during off hours during the week than on weekends. But again, the store is wonderful and staff was kind!”
“We went for our first time today and had a pleasant experience. Loved the smell of the shop too. The candle scents are amazing. Great choice of manga, snacks and cosplay costumes.”
“I've been shopping here for over 15 years, and I probably should've written this review ages ago. I absolutely adore Nice Price and the owners Enoch and Brian are really great guys. They sell mostly used books, new and used vinyl, and CDs. They also have a ton of movies on DVD and Blu-Ray, comics and manga, cassettes, and plenty of excellent Nice Price merch.Despite selling a lot of used goods, the selection still feels incredibly well-curated. They make a concerted effort to always keep an eclectic array of new & used vinyl on hand and new stuff is added almost daily. So regardless of whatever obscure sub-genre of music you prefer, you’re bound to find something you like. They can also special-order music for you, which is something I ask them to do pretty frequently. The prices are always comparable or cheaper than what you’d find anywhere else, so there’s really no reason not to.As for parking, I’ve visited Nice Price hundreds of times by now and have never had an issue. There’s an entire lot behind the store which always has empty spaces and there’s some street parking nearby. In recent years, signs have gone up to help prevent people who aren’t customers from parking here. All in all, this is unquestionably my favorite record store in the area, and the only one I frequent anymore. It’s absolutely worth your time to stop in and browse from time to time.”
“The scholastic warehouse book fair was amazing! Buy one box and get one free, so for two boxes of new books it was $30. The workers and volunteers were helpful and friendly. They even had some free posters near checkout. Definitely, will be going back on and hopefully towards the first day of the sale. I went on the 4-5th day, and they still had a good selection but going on the first day would have been even better. My coworker and I split the cost and each got one box for $15. For the one box, I filled up with about 33-35 books, a thing of flash cards, a few fun pens (Harry Potter wands), a few pencil cases and a miniature cell phone with markers.”
“Staff is very nice. Prices on apparel are decent compared to normal college wear. Besides apparel, you can find all small stuff you may need also. For example: basic school supplies, basic toiletry needs, batteries, etc.”
“This is the place to go.
I live in Germany and whenever I visit my family in North Carolina I HAVE to stop by.
I had no idea what comic books I might enjoy or where to start. They took me by the hand and made great recommendations. I was thrilled and thankful. The real fun started when I came back half a year later. They remembered me and after chatting about what I enjoyed the most in the first recommendation they put me on to some really fun stuff. I still go off off the starting point they created for me another half year later.
The stock continually changes and as far as I understood they are happy to order specific books for you.
I could not have asked for a better experience.
Thank you guys sooooo much.”
“So this place is in an antique shop called Cheshire’s cat. We had a hard time finding it at first because there was no store front anywhere. Glad we found it! The entire antique shop was huge and super cool but this place was our favorites. Lots of vintage books, magazines, and more. If you like historical relics this place is for you!”
“Helpful kind considerate Philip. I think he's the manager has been so helpful with me being a mature student. Personally, I love wake up. Almost everyone here has been kind to this journey of Continued education”
“The staff works hard to answer questions and provide needed materials for school.Ordering books/ supplies can be hectic but i's to be expected with the volume of people served on a daily basis.”
“I LOVE blackbird! it is such a quaint oasis of books and tasty drinks. their book selection isn't huge but they have really great taste. definitely worth a visit :-)”
