Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital is by far the best. Dr. Wilson and his amazing team are the kindest people on the planet. I have found out recently that they know how to make the worst day of your life just a little bit more tolerable. I appreciate their kindness and would not take my fur babies anywhere else.

Best vet ever!! I’ve moved here from out of state and so thankful to have found Bayleaf for my 12 year old dog. Every doctor and tech I’ve seen here has been extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Always excellent service and fair prices. I could not be more happy! Highly recommend!!

We cannot say enough great things about Bayleaf and their staff! We have been taking our two rescue dogs here for over eight years and are constantly impressed and grateful for the compassion and nurturing care they receive. Special shoutout to Dr. Umberger who has gone above and beyond for our pets and treated us like family!

Bayleaf Vet came recommended from a friend. I already knew they have been there for many many years. They are so kind, caring and compassionate, as well as reasonable. It’s worth the drive to go somewhere that I trust.

I have always had a great experience taking my dog here. We recently moved 35 minutes away and my dog needed extensive dental work. The vet I took my dog too at the new location did not feel comfortable doing the dental work. I called Bayleaf and they got my pup in the within a week and did a great job removing quite a few teeth! Very caring and fair prices!

Very friendly staff! I'd been with the same vet for almost 30 years. Thought vets in Raleigh would be more expensive. I was wrong!! Bayleaf is much more affordable than where I was.
Update... I don't remember how long ago I wrote my review but it's still true. I actually came to the reviews today to praise Mark. Not sure what his actual title is there but I think he's a vet tech. He is AWESOME! They probably have notes in my dog's file about what an ahole he is (the dog I mean). Loki trusts nobody! He will not go with anyone unless I am right there beside them. Loki took to Mark as if he'd known him all his life! Mark was great with him and very nice and helpful to me. Give Mark a raise!!! I would like to request for Mark to be present for all our vet visits!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have been taking my dog here for 9 years and this office/staff is nothing but spectacular. I am constantly amazed at how much each and every staff member goes above and beyond for you and your pet. Not only do they remember you from the front desk but to the back staff as well. They know that your pet is just as important as every other member of your family, they treat each pet with undivided attention and special care and they do what they can to make sure all needs are met not only for your pet but the rest of your family as well. While all of them have been fantastic I have to shout out to Sharon at the front and Dr. Wilson and Dr. Sullivan who see me juggling my young kids and dog and go the extra mile to make things wonderful!

Bayleaf is the only place we trust taking our animals. We moved and now make an hour's drive, but it's worth it! Since 1997, my family has been bringing their pets here. Every veterinarian we've seen has been amazing. Our visits don't ever feel rushed. We've had 2 pets in the past that became suddenly ill after clinic hours, and they did not hesitate having us bring them in. They stayed with them through the night and kept us updated on their care. When we've had pets ready to cross the rainbow bridge, every staff member has been so kind and compassionate.

We were really excited to bring our Golden Retriever to Bayleaf, based off of recommendation. Like others have said, they're great for affordable basic pet care. However, in recent months we've had a horrible experience with them. Our pup was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that has not been handled well. Our vet, Dr. Florian, originally said that the lab showed as "negative" for the disease and then called a day later to confirm a "positive" diagnosis. We had to call 3 times for an update, before getting the final diagnosis. Our pup has been on an extremely high dose of prednisone, with no set plan of action or referral to a specialist. We've been told to stay on the high dose in the meantime, with no follow-up appointment set by their team to check vitals, etc. When I call to get into touch with him, I'm always told that he's busy and am given instruction by the front desk who has no veterinary experience. We will be switching vet offices. Do not recommend them - they’re clearly understaffed and overbooked, without the ability to fully care for your pet.
