Highly recommend Atlas Automotive off of Daimler way in Raleigh. Dimitri is a small business owner and runs the shop. He doesn’t really do much advertising and gets business primarily by word of mouth. His place is a little awkward to get to and off the beaten path but he is honest and enjoys what he is doing. Atlas Automotive was highly recommended to my by a friend about a year ago. Since then, I am continually impressed every time I bring a vehicle in to be serviced. I have used Atlas for big ticket repairs and for minor services such as oil changes. Dimitri is fair, reliable, an excellent communicator and flexible. As a woman coming into this automotive shop, I have been treated with respect and fairly with each and every encounter. Amazing customer service!

Atlas Automotive was referred to me by a friend who, who was referred to them by another friend. They are a word of mouth business and are successful because of the honest pricing, diagnosis and excellent work they do. If you like the pomp and circumstance of the dealership or big mechanic shops, this might not be your place. But if you like good people that are experts in their field and take pride in doing what they say and how, this is your place. Where else will you find someone who has the expertise and capabilities to care for your new Porsche GT3 and your beater truck/car with 250K+ miles? Top notch!

People like Dimitri let you know there are still people with integrity willing to go that extra mile. Our truck broke down on the way to the OBX for the Thanksgiving holiday. He came with another mechanic to work on it in the parking lot and even offered to bring it to us at the OBX since he was heading that way (in the event he was not able to fix it due to not having the parts). Mind you we were going to Hatteras Island and he was going to Kitty Hawk for his own vacation. In the end, he fixed it without charging an exorbitant fee (which he could have since we were at his mercy far from home on a road trip to the beach). This review is well overdue, but wanted people to know he is trustworthy, great at his craft and fair.
