Just okay here. The indoor plants are massively overpriced. You can find same or better quality at Walmart, lowes or online honestly. And I've seen spider mites on multiple of their plants so...I do love their pot selection even with the prices of them. Just buy the ones without drainage holes and drill your own with a diamond drill bit! They are pretty cheap there without the holes.

Very very high prices for exotic and poor quality plants. Example: Monstera albo is almost 400$ with a white leaf. Also if you look closer - they chopped it off previously to propagate another plant. When I notified staff about the white leaf (I couldn’t believe that such plant can be in so hight price and not fixed) the woman just said “Yes”. When I said: “But it will die off. She said: “Well, people love white leaves”, and walked away.It is not even funny. They are not knowledgable or just don’t care. Once you get pure white leaf the whole plant will start produce only white and only green leaves (or only white that will be dead). It is very hard to fix. Honest seller will never sell such plant unfixed. Be aware.Put at least 2 starts for life wall and bar. The rest is not worth to visit. Too overpriced planters and the rest of the products. I think it was my last visit.

Cute little nursery specializing in orchids. They also have house plants, some outdoor plants, and a store featuring home goods and gift items. There is a small juice bar inside and some outdoor tables you can sit at. I got a beautiful orchid 50 percent off and some other houseplants.

Okay, I was really looking forward to visiting this place for the first time today. I have many houseplants (40+) so I was SO excited to browse the selection. This is my main hobby and I love it so much. I really wanted to chop it up with the staff about plants and see what would be best for my house/collection, etc. Unfortunately, at the risk of sounding like a Karen, literally no one spoke to me or acknowledged my presence the entire time I was shopping, around 20-30 minutes. I hate complaining about this but like, it’s a plant store. People want someone to consult with. I see some other reviews saying the staff was great, so I don’t know. I tried to wait to speak to the girl behind the counter in the greenhouse, but she just kept walking off somewhere. The other girl I saw seemed to be busy moving plants around in the greenhouse and then I saw her just seemingly socializing with some people at the bar. It honestly made me really sad lol and I’m super disappointed with my experience. The cashier was nice, but didn’t ask me any questions like if I found what I looking for, did I have any care questions, etc. I would have mentioned all this when I was paying, but I kinda felt like a bother being there. I was truly optimistic and looking forward to having a local nursery to visit regularly, but I think after today this place won’t be it :(

They provided the help I needed to choose new plantings for my yard. They were very helpful and spent more time with me than I expected.

Beautiful plants and great selection. We did notice that the prices are a tiny bit on the high side compared to other local nurseries and I found mealie bugs on the Florida that I bought from them. 100% certain it came from that plant because I inspected it as soon as we got home. It's in isolation and is thriving, and I'm happy with the purchase. Pests happen, and they are to be expected. I like treating with either beneficial insects or a home made mix of Castile soap, rubbing alcohol, water, and h2o2. Works on literally all pests. But yes, we like visiting here and all certainly be back over and over. I do wish they had carts with leg cutouts for a child to sit (like they have in the grocery stores) so we didn't have to lug around my daughter's wheelchair in the store.

First time coming to Atlantic Gardening and definitely won’t be back! 5 employees in the store and not 1 took a moment to say hello, welcome in or anything else for that matter. I would say something negative about their plants to finish my rant but they were ok. Unfortunately for Atlantic you can purchase same quality or better from Home Depot or Lowes garden centers.

Not one of several salespeople ever initiated a "hello."

They recently completed a project to the back of my TH at Inside Wade. They did exactly what I envisioned for the space. Love it!

A wonderful place to go plant shopping in Raleigh. Great selection of indoor plants. Everything was organized well and the greenhouse was very clean. The staff gives you space and lets you look around without asking questions, but they are very helpful when you need something. Some of the plants are unfortunately priced high. I was honestly surprised to see prices for some plants higher than what Im used to in Chicago shops. The pots are costly as well. I also noticed fungus knats in one of the plants I brought home. The garden bar looked really cool though!

I've visited this delightful garden twice now, and each time was an absolute joy. The first visit was a serene blend of exploring the captivating outdoor and indoor garden spaces. To top it off, I enjoyed mimosas while my other half savored his beer - a perfect way to unwind. The second trip was for a recent Halloween workshop, and it was a blast! Plus, I received a free mimosa for wearing a witch hat as part of the workshop festivity. Ample parking spaces. Dog friendly the recent time I went. The fusion of the garden's natural beauty;a well-stocked bar (no coffee); and creative workshops is a clever concept that ensures there's never a dull moment. This place is a gem for anyone seeking a unique experience. Can't wait to return for more adventures and invest in more plants!

I traveled 5 hrs to visit family and wanted to visit Atlantic Garden company because it was a recommended destination for gardeners by Southern Living magazine. What a huge disappointment. Weak looking plants, poor/low inventory of both plants and pots. Nothing terribly original or interesting. Nothing I saw was worth purchasing. I will not recommend or return.

Thank you to the individual in the greenhouse that helped us put together this dish garden. We were able to add moss from my grandpa yard and a little frog to remember him. Exactly what we had envisioned.

This place is, hands down, the coolest plant shop in Raleigh. They have an incredible selection of rares and the people are amazing. Amber at the bar is as knowledgeable on the drink selection as she is on plants, and Adam is extremely knowledgeable and absolutely phenomenal at what he does. It’s our new go-to for a fun weekend morning outing!
