“Visited for one specific painting, and were very impressed by the large variety of styles and pieces. Lovely store and friendly assistance. Can’t wait for our painting to be delivered!”
“Very well curated space. My wife bought jewelry and I browsed mostly in the music section. There are a million records, CDs, 8-Tracks, etc. to browse through. If we lived in Raleigh we would visit once a week!”
“I have worked with David and his team at Pender's Antiques for over 25 years. His work is done the old fashioned way with no short cuts. Each piece he and his team work on is transformed. I highly recommend David with Pender's Antiques & Refinishing.”

1910 Bernard St, Raleigh“My fiancé bought my engagement ring here and it is by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! Everything else in the store is amazing to just look at and all of the staff (CC the dog included) are wonderful!”
“I just was window shopping but actually found some things I had to have. Great variety. My daughter enjoyed the history an antique provides. Enjoyed my trip and the service. My daughter and I will be back.”
“The best place in Raleigh to find incredible vintage and antique furniture and home decor. The owner’s taste is impeccable. I love how frequently the inventory changes. Every visit is inspiring.”
“The ReInspired Home was a fabulous experience. After making our first purchase this evening, we have already decided we need to stop in monthly. Beautiful and stylish pieces.”

9300 Durant Rd, Raleigh“I'm so glad to have found this place - entirely by accident! I needed to purchase some Annie Sloan chalk paint, and my usual place was closed Mondays, and this popped up on my search. It's very rustic and antiquey on the outside, but so charming and clean inside. Beautiful little booths filled with a variety of things, from textiles to art, children's games to furniture, soaps to primitive household decor, and more. But there's still more! In another building there's a second group of vendors, all with clean, uncluttered, interesting items to browse. I'll be back, for sure!”
“This is a hidden gem in the North Raleigh area located on Durant Rd. This place offers mini antique shops, candle store, pottery store, nursery, paint store, and Blacksmith shop. The atmosphere is fantastic, the owners of each store are very friendly and welcoming. The products offered are beautifully crafted, perfectly curated, and unique. The candle store even offers classes and the lady owner can also tell you about the history of the building. This place is really neat, different in a really good way. So I invite you to stop by and buy from local small businesses.”
“Extremely well stocked and fun shop. This is the type of vintage store you want to visit periodically. Very inspiring. Lots to see. Well ventilated so it doesn’t smell old. Take your time and enjoy! I’ll be back for sure.”
“What a fantastic place. If you are passing through it is worth checking out. If you are a local and haven't checked it out you don't know what you are missing.”
“An absolute treasure! So many beautiful pieces that truly stand the test of time and not just “junk grandma didn’t want anymore.” Prices are reasonable given the quality of each piece.”

5211 Hillsborough St, Raleigh“I don't understand the folks who left reviews that had a bad experience because they "weren't greeted." It's marked down furniture store, so I don't expect to be waited on, but the woman working the counter was SO FRIENDLY and chatty!I didn't love the items, but there's a wide selection for a variety of tastes. Don't expect antiques, the furniture is all new stuff, appears to be overstock items.”

5425 Hillsborough St, Raleigh“This is a huge store with lots to see. Higher end items, unique genres and interesting books. Staff is helpful without being intrusive. Plan to spend time here.”
“So this place is in an antique shop called Cheshire’s cat. We had a hard time finding it at first because there was no store front anywhere. Glad we found it! The entire antique shop was huge and super cool but this place was our favorites. Lots of vintage books, magazines, and more. If you like historical relics this place is for you!”

2060 Clark Ave, Raleigh“The antique shop looks great and a must see for antique lovers. The store was difficult to find but worth the try ( take the stairs or the elevator to the higher level). The gentleman working there was very patient with me and helped me understand and evaluate two pieces of vintage jewelry I had ( Thank you). I also looked around and loved their antique and vintage selection. I recommend this place to antique enthusiasts and will be back myself.”
“This is an alright thrift store but the selection is pretty limited and things can be pricy. Unfortunately they don't have much in terms of clothing, but they did have a good selection of jewelry which was also fairly priced. They were also really friendly here!”
“Truly a gem that many people may look past in Village District. The Cheshire Cat Antique Gallery is expansive and has options for anyone who walks into the doors. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful if looking for something in specific.”
“I had a great experience today taking in a damaged vintage lamp. Craig was so nice and knowledgeable. He repaired my lamp while I waited and he even let me watch/hover. The lamp was very dirty as well and he let me clean it while he did the repair. Super customer care and attention to detail. I will be going back to check out some of the beautiful lamps he has for sale.”
