This company does not actually move your items they outsourced to low level and cheap movers. The price continually kept going up as they told me that I had more than that they quoted me for. they broke half my stuff left it scratched dented lost many things when I went to make a claim they only said I could get 60 cents per pound if I had a receipt.Absolute worst company stay away get a reputable company to help you I should have just moved myself and saved the money.

Please be aware, this company uses a 3rd party company Orbitz and this company is a scam. We were told boxes missing will be deliver later but now no one returns or answer the phone. Plus they charge 10 more once they arrive at your home. Please stay away. Do not use. I just want my boxes back. Which belong to me and I paid over 6,000 to be deliver.

Please stay away, that's all I got to say. If not, you will have to find out the hard way like I did. All the 5 star ratings are from employees and friends. The accurate reviews are on yelp and Better Business Bureau's website

Do not hire this ripoff company! They damaged many items my shipment and charged me as much as Mayflower. The brand new microwave was crushed; several pieces of furniture were scratched up. They jam everything together and tie it up so tight with ropes it gets damaged. They are in cahoots with a broker in Miami that lied to us to sell us the job.

I moved in October. The company hired movers from Craigslist and asked me for cash to pay their Craigslist helpers. They destroyed my couch, tore leather, broke antique furniture, scuff a table, and broke a dresser mirror frame (solid wood) , totally gauged a five drawer dresser and tore off metal knobs...no wrapping etc and the insurance came out to $80... I even helped disassemble table and couch legs that they argued with me about bc they were in a hurry!! What a scam. All Pro Moving contracted out to them and they contracted out again.. Never deal with these parties (including Orbitz which somehow is convicted in relationships here too)

United Movers of America, a.k.a United Vanlines, a.k.a Vanlines are the biggest scammers in this Universe.....

The movers were rude. Every piece of wooden furniture was chipped or scratched. Pieces of my dining room set were missing and they promised me the parts were found and being sent via Fed Ex. I never received it. My furniture didn’t arrive until a week after the scheduled delivery time and they cane in the middle of the night at midnight. I filed an insurance claim for all my damaged and missing furniture and received a check for $64. Horrible service.

Run, don't walk. They are the same as American Pro movers. You can read your future. Pay 75% more than estimate to get your broken stuff back. Horrific move.

We were given an estimated price which we knew was low, but they came back with a price that was double the estimate. They would not unload until we paid, in cash. I guess no one would ever pay if they knew beforehand that they would receive broken household goods. They destroyed a hutch for a desk, ruined a $6000 rug and broke many other items. We are not talking about accidental damage, we expect that but we ARE talking about wanton disregard for the basic protection we would expect when entrusting any property to a company.

This is the moving company from hell. They lied about their name, pretending to be United Vanlines. They raised the price of the move and worst of all many items were damaged, broken and missing to an estimated value of over $3000. Upon filing a claim they offered me $72.

American United is highly recommendable. I moved from NJ to NC recently and it was the best move yet. I didn’t have to worry about anything. I received my items in a good amount of time and the work men were very careful about pick up and delivery. I am very grateful to have found this company and I would definitely use them again!
