I am almost 40 years old. Once my ID was asked for and realized I was of age the next step was to ask to see if name matches on card. My husband's business card has his name but I'm on all accounts and have AUTHORIZED use of card. That was not good enough, needed husband to come in then given a story how someone who the store most likely don't belong to, tell me they're about to retire and they have to do things legally. Well I'm LEGALLY authorized to use this card. Saw NO one else asked the same while I stood in there and waited for husband to come in. NO ONE. NEVER in ANY STATE I have bought alcohol in has had a problem with me using the card. Last name matches and all. Unnecessary! I have used this SAME CARD AT THIS LOCATION FOR YEARS! No one's liquor license or store will be fined or closed down bc someone is using a card they are authorized to use! Like I said unnecessary!
