Stopped in one night,she had her dog in there and it had pooped in floor and she was acting like it wasn't there. Smelled awful.. I waited in line for what seemed like forever because she didn't know how to stop talking . very unprofessional as she was talking about other coworkers . very glad she is gone now.. Makes stopping in better”

“The most polite young man was there when I went in the other night. He just had made the best & strongest coffee as I had walked into the store. He was super sweet, respectful & as polite as can be. You know who he is just by his southern accent & hospitality. Haven't received that kind of polite service in a while. I really hope that they can keep this guy there. This store always needs good help & this one is a keeper for sure. The was also a lady that was there but safe wasn't moving about the store, she was just behind the counter. I didn't bother looking to see what she was doing as I was in a hurry. Never-the-less, they always have what I need. Usually cheaper on gas too. Plus they keep the store super clean. Which is much appreciated.”

“Very close to my home usually had everything I need at time,really like Cindy the owner,even have take out foods,only problem most ppl have with it its not open till 9or11 pm & not open on Sunday for several years but they used to be,&I myself wish that would change but when I lived in ashe Co for 45 years at least 20yrs I worked down here& creekstop wS an everyday stop!however better not be speeding or run stop light the cops really police the sore& that rd plum past the store,hahaha”

“ONLY GIVING THIS 5 STARS BECAUSE I WANT THE COMMENT TO BE SEEN. Skips has always taken food stamps, they have never not taken them. Well today, the guy IVE NEVER SEEN WORKING HERE, made my little boy cry because I was not able to purchase his drink or candy with food stamps. He said he’s worked there for a year and NEVER TAKEN FOOD STAMPS. I was just in there not even a few days ago, and they took my food stamps. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I will NEVER go back into this store again, nor will I be a customer. && I have been a loyal customer for YEARS, I live on the other side of town now and still drive all this way just to go in Skips. But no more.”

“I went to get some monsters and takis for the boys but then a elephant walked in and asks if I could buy him some ice cream so I bought him ice cream so me and the elephant walks out and he gets on a unicycle and rides away so I go back in and asks a worker what was that and he tells me that he comes in everyday and gets ice cream so I don't ask any questions and go home but I wanted to come here a share my experience and it has great service and I'm glad they told me about the elephant but have a good day”
