It’s the little things that matterAttention to detail is lacking at this dealership.I bought a 2018 Toyota Tundra from smart cars by Weiland recently and the over the phone communications with the dealership was great, very friendly and punctual.I asked if there were 2 sets of keys for the vehicles and they told me that there was not but they were ordering 2 new key FOBS for my truck. I arrived at the dealership 15 min before they closed to pick up my truck, (keep in mind that they have had the check from my bank since 10 am that morning), doing the paperwork was easy and I was excited to see that they had 2 key FOBs for my truck, BUT THEN the key fobs didn’t work, the exterior of the truck was dirty, needed to be washed, and the gas tank was 70 miles to empty, the salesman even told me that he drove the truck that day, so why didn’t you fill the truck up with gas and wash it?They told me that someone would contact me about programming the key FOBS for my truck, I’m still waiting on his call, I have called him with no return call.I will say that the interior of the truck was clean (it should be) and I’ve had no issues with the truck.Smart cars by Weiland-Put a little more effort into the details with your customers, it’s the little things that matter.

I really wanted this to be a good experience. The car they had from their website seemed to be my dream car. I called and told the salesman I was coming, drove 2 & 1/2 hours away to get there. Met the guy, all seemed well however once I opened the vehicle, I was hugely disappointed, bc the car was filthy! I had been in communication with them for a few days and told them I was coming and no effort was made to vacuum the car or wipe down the seats. I honestly didn't even want to test drive it, but i overlooked that bc I wanted the car and the price was really where I wanted. Test drove car, it needed brakes, so they agreed to get that fixed and clean the car. We parked it and my husband saw a car HE liked and we test drove it. We opened it and immediately noticed the smell! Got inside and tried to put on my seatbelt on passenger side and there was MOLD all over it! Then we checked it out and saw there was a puddle of water INSIDE the vehicle in the back... I've never seen anything like this in my life. The saleman was totally apologetic and seemed surprised by our findings, however at this point, I couldn't trust purchasing ANY vehicle from this place. Nice cars (outwardly), good prices, friendly people but many of these cars are bad and makes me wonder where they got these cars from and how many others have issues. As i peruse reviews quite a few others have actually purchased cars from here and there's issues. As much as I want to LIKE this place, I don't trust their vehicles! Buyer Beware!

I had a wonderful buying experience. The family is kind and friendly. We got a great deal on our vehicle and warranty and they gave us a fantastic price to buy our old vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership.

We had a great experience with Wieland. They were not high pressure sales and worked with us over several months until we found the car that was right for our situation. One thing that made us trust them is that one of the early cars we tried seemed to have a problem. They checked it and said "we aren't going to sale that car to anyone," because of the problem. We knew that they wanted it to be a win for them and us.

I bought a 2015 Toyota Prius from there and everything was perfect. Great customer service and even better vehicle. I recommend SmartCars to anybody looking for a good used cars.

Purchased a BMW X5 first week of August had the vehicle overnight was to return the following day for a windshield repair. Once I arrived in Pittsboro it was smoking and cut off directly in front of the dealership. Gunned it into the lot with various smoke colors coming out. John W said we put bad gas into but loaned us a car to drive back to Ft. Bragg. Three days later he says we must purchase a fuel pump car still smoked after George replaced the fuel pump. The vehicle was towed from SmartCars and has been with BMW since then $28,000 paid and it was driven less than two hours yet I don’t have. BMW confirmed it wasn’t bad gas and a wrong pump was installed. Weiland accepts no responsibility and refuses to take the SUV back. They tricked this solider contacted JAG for help praying for resolution. Beware never pay full price at this spot

I strongly recommend Wieland when considering a new ride. The buying experience was quick and easy and the staff were friendly. Moreover, I have never seen a used lot with a cleaner inventory of quality vehicles.

Purchased a 2014 X5 BMW paid by check left and returned the next day to get a windshield repaired the car started smoking different colors from blue to yellow . John said the suv would be fixed by them after keeping it for a week he says bad gas was put in the suv only thing is I purchased premium gas for my Mercedes as well with no issues to it. Then to slap me in the face I was charged for a fuel pump purchase they couldn't provide any documentation for. I have a $28,800 BMW that doesn't drive that I put maybe 220 miles on and the dealership accepts no blame but want to fault Circle K where I got the fuel. BEWARE of John and his hoppycock lies.

My husband bought a mustang from them (or so we thought). After almost 2 months, we have no title, get no call backs, get the run around when we do call them and cannot get permanent plates. We are currently contacting DMV, our bank and the attorney general. We never had issues at any other dealership. this is insane. We DO NOT recommend them!

My husband purchased a mustang from them, or so we thought. Almost 2 months later, we have yet to receive the title, cannot get permanent plates, don't get called back by ANYONE and have received a constant run around when we do reach someone. We are currently contacting DMV, the bank and the attorney general. We DO NOT recommend them.

This dealership is not worth your time and money. They don't care about customer service all they worry about is making money. I purchased a vehicle on May 26 with in a 13 day pierod the car started making knocking sound on my way to work. I barely made it to work. I have driven this car less then 400 miles when this knocking sound started. On June 9 exactly 2 weeks after I had gotten the car I stop by the dealership and ask for some sort of help either fixing the car or getting a refund and the only thing they said sorry we would lose money if we help you.I felt disappointed by the manager. Now am out 7000 so that being said don't waste your hard earned money on this dealership.

I'm a firm believer in google review ratings and made a 2.5 hour drive from near Charlotte to purchase a Honda Civic from Smart Cars dealership. I have nothing but great things to say about their customer service & professionalism throughout my purchase. Everything about the car was exactly as described to me over the phone and purchase process when I arrived was very efficient.Thanks Doug, John, and Bella!

I recently purchased a van with Mr. Burt and Mr. Doug. I can't say enough good things about this place of business. Mr. Burt and Mr. Doug went above and beyond to get me in my vehicle. It is hard to find people of their word, especially car dealers. Mr. Burt was indeed a man of his word. I would definitely buy from them again! It is a family owned business, and you definitely get the family vibe here. Their mom even came buy for a visit while I was there. "Buy a car!", she said. Also, I would like to comment on how organized and efficient their secretary is. I didn't catch her name, but did notice that she keeps things running smoothly. I give God the glory for leading me in their direction! May God Bless this business to be even more prosperous in the years ahead. I thank you guys with my total heart.
