Lowes has really improved in the last few years. Right now Lowe’s is really efficient, easy and dare I say fun to shop at, especially with the helpful and friendly staff. I’m extremely happy with all aspects of my Lowe’s experience now.
Some examples -
- Returns just require the same CC used to make the purchase. That is it. Incredibly simple and easy
- Lowe’s app to find items quickly, check inventory
- Great sales like July appliance sale (I bought a washer and dryer)
- Lowe’s rewards. I bought $25 worth of items yesterday but didn’t pay anything. I had the reward points to cover it
- Improved checkout. I just click the Lowe’s app and the “Wallet” the get it scanned at checkout. I don’t have to show my Lowe’s card or give my phone number anymore. Self-checkout better too
- Animal feed. Lowes offers feed now at great prices. Looks like they are adding other farm products too
- Delivery is 1000% better. It is all automated now. You can manage and track delivery on your phone. Drivers are great.
- Staff is really helpful and friendly. If I needed help on a purchase I used to just go to ACE hardware but now Lowe’s service is comparable, sometimes even better.

- 10% military discount. I’ve saved thousands over the years.

As expected.
Now after digging through mismatched drawers of stuff to find some of what I wanted,theywant me to check myself out and bag stuff,what's wrong the system, I don't work there,if I did I'd want a raise or at least a tip for all my trouble shopping at Lowes!!!!

Today I had an instacart order for 5 Sunpatients- 1 quart plants at $5.98 each. I asked two female garden center employees where they were and neither knew or offered to help me look and both acted very bothered I even asked. Both were elderly women. I looked on my own about 10 minutes and finally went to the returns desk to ask for a manager. Thanks to Tawanna for finding me a manager (she was very kind and helpful and FRIENDLY)

I get all my home improvements from Lowes, so when we needed new appliances for our new home.. we went to our local Lowe's, Everyone was helpful and professional.

My mother and I went to Lowe’s yesterday. We purchased 30 pounds of concrete and attempted to purchase lumber. Lowe’s employees refused to assist with loading the concrete into my vehicle to the point of my mother and I having to load the concrete ourselves. We were unable to purchase the lumber because we were told that due to workers being out, there was no one to help load so we couldn’t buy it. After my mother explained she was upset because of the inconveniences of Lowe’s, and the workers basically told us that nothing could be done during the shift and that we had to come back Monday, Memorial Day. I am extremely upset with my experience with Lowe’s! I do not plan to return!

Had quite a humiliating experience at this store today. Typically, I do pickup from one of the lockboxes at this store as I do not have a lot of time to go into the store to shop and honestly avoid interacting with the staff since I mostly know what I want, don't have time to chit-chat and seldomly need advice on how to do my diy projects. So I love making my in-and-out trip to this store with minimal human interaction. Mind you, I have multiple properties in town and I encourage contractors working for me to come to this store and during those trips, I'll go in with the contractors. So when I ordered a screwdriver about two weeks ago, I was surprised when they marked it as picked up when I had not picked it up. I actually had gone to the store and checked-in, but had to leave since the line was so long, and I had my kids with me. I did not think it was a big deal that it had been marked as picked up (mistakes happen) and since this was a low value item, I decided I'll stop by the customer service desk to talk to them about refunding the item during my next trip. So when I went to pick up some clamps I had ordered, I stopped by the desk and explained that I did not pick up the item and needed a refund. The lady at the desk said she would go back and check for the item. But she could not find it, and she came back with another staff member, who went on to say that I had picked up the item and even used an ID. So not it became a case of who is to be believed and at this point I was not very happy because it seemed as now they were accusing me of picking up the item which I know for a fact I did not pick up. I proceeded to tell them that I was not going to pursue the refund since this was a low value item, and was surprised at how nonchalantly this staff member accepted my decision. And so I left. But upon leaving I thought about how much money I had spent in this store (probably in the thousands for me and people who have done projects for me) and here I am being accused of being dishonest about picking up an $8 item, and I am now livid. My conclusion/thinking is that probably an employee saw I had checked in and just decided that they will mark the item as picked up and keep it for themselves.

I shopped at Pittsboro Lowe’s on Saturday May 11 with my 86yo mom. The staff was extremely helpful in finding specific items, checking out with my mom, and even helped me get our cart full of plants to my car. It was overall a positive experience!
