I have been coming here for years. As I see the different places carring STIHL products, I am assured that Gum Springs will always give me the best deal and , here is what you get at Gum Springs that the other places do not have. Honesty, totally honesty, they dont try to seel you something just to sell it or more than you need, they do not pad the repair of your item. Honest, Honest I can not say it enough. You get superior knowledge , three family generations here. They know the product inside and out. They dont have to look on the internet or Youtube how to fix it, like the other places. Gum Springs Garage is old school, fix it right the first time. They are not going to sell you more than you need.I have always had great service when I come here. The Kidd family has the right business plan. Honesty is the best policy .Randy is a great guy, professional , honest, dependable, knowledgeable , all the things that you want in a repair person.I can not say it enough, Honesty and dependable is Gum Springs garage. If you need to purchase a STIHL or have one serviced, this is the ONLY place to go.

Gum Springs Garage is a Gem. They dont come any better, in fact I do not know of anywhere else that has this business platform from start to end. Honesty, absolute honesty. They do not sell you something just to sell it. If you need it they will tell you what you need , nothing more. For instance, if you want to buy a switch, they sell you a switch not everything that is connected to that switch. I have used them many times, too numerous to count, and I have always went away with a smile. They give top notch service, they do it right the first time, they know their stuff inside and out. Family owned 3rd generation. If you are looking for a STIHL product this is the only place to purchase one and service it when needed.

The place may not look like much, but they really know about repairing outdoor power equipment. Their service on my chainsaw was very quick, and the price was very reasonable. I'll never go anywhere else.

Best outfit in Chatham County for small motor repair. Have bought both my chainsaws, blower, polesaw there. They sharpen chainsaw blades better then anybody I've used (and I've used many). Best to get there during the week. Genuine, true, fair, reliable.

One of the few Stihl dealers that knows how to solve problems without throwing the customers money at the issue. When I needed a pole saw and hedge trimmer attachment for my FS-111 they knew exactly what parts I needed and showed me how to swap them out with my trimmer head. Ace hardware meanwhile just said that I simply couldnt do that with an FS-111 and would have to buy a whole new Kombi system for three times the price!

This place is great. Small old-timey store. The knowledge and service of the staff was incredible. Randy saved me $600 by showing me a smaller brush cutter than I asked for, but he explained it could do what I needed and he was right. They have a ton of Stihl products in stock. I enjoyed showing my son around the garage with the old tools and furnace. You dont see many places like this anymore. Also, they set up the warranty on my equipment for me and converted the string trimmer into a brush cutter at no charge.

Excellent 3 generation family owned business. They know what they are talking about. Most important , they will advise you on what you need , not on what they want to sell. Honest folks here, absolutely!!! They service what they sell and a great place to purchase STIHL products. Give them a try , you will be glad you did.

It doesn’t get any better for excellent expertise on complete engine over hauls MF 265 and PTO clutch. It’s fixed correctly for many more hours of service.

Old fashioned good service, fair price and quality work. I would not let anyone else work on My chainsaws. Shop is closed on weekends and rightly so, they work their tails off during the week.

Highly recommend these guys. Reseasonable service time and rates..excellant customer service..all three chain saws (two of which were not stihl brand) ran and cut like brand new when Travis finished with them. (He even sharpened the chains!)
