Would like to give 0 stars!! This Food Lion Sucks!! Been living in Pittsboro for 10 years now - store is dirty, employees are rude and they have nothing!! Also, selling no cigarettes today, Friday evening.. wth!!!!!!!!!!!

This one got remodeled with the shorter belts at check out. Don't understand what Improvement this was supposed to make. Much harder to check out, especially when there are only one or two actual cashiers. Started going to the other Food Lion.

The QA named Michael Dalton, he was very rude, i always see him not really doing his job, he’s talking to employees for a long time, I’ve asked him where stuff is and he said it very rudely. He’s not good at cleaning but makes things more dirty. 0/10 on his work ethic, and 0/10 on his attitude.

Everytime I come shopping here I love a clean store, and especially bathroom, and it’s never clean, I always usually see the QA Michael Dalton talking to cashiers. I asked him to clean the bathroom before I used it and it smells worse after he got done, he is very rude and disrespectful.

I didn’t wanna give this Food Lion no stars. been living in Pittsboro for 7 years and I noticed that the young men and women that work here are nice to all age groups. The older workers are only kind to older individuals that shop here. This food Lion’s customer service sucks, I only shop here because it’s closer to my home, but definitely bout to start taking that few minutes drive to shop somewhere else because customer service is everything.

The folks who work here are very polite and helpful, and that is why I frequent this store. Unfortunately however, when there’s a problem with the food, it’s impossible to get a hold of someone. For example, today I purchased five containers of fresh butterball ground turkey (not expired). After I got home and began cooking the ground turkey, I realized the meat was off and rotten (sadly, after I had stubbornly and foolishly contaminated several other ingredients). I tried to call the store to let Customer Service know; however, nobody answered the phone on any line in any department. This is unfortunate because somebody else could become seriously ill from consuming this meat. I also tried the 1-800 number on the receipt, but it was after hours so it was closed. Again- the people who work here are very decent. You should just be careful however with what you consume and follow your instincts about safety. I’m sorry to be a Karen about this but no one likes to come home with rotten meat, especially when food is so expensive.

Easy fill in shopping trip. Not crowded at 3:30. I was looking for dishwasher cleaner and they were out. Lots of meat in the counter.
