Several years ago, l I joined primarily for the warm water pool. Okay, so Covid was a pain, but ... the pool is never in working order when I want it! One mechanical problem after another.Plus ... they keep one lane for water therapists .... who may not use the lane!Their website is not user-friendly, and sign up is stupid. required three emails to sign in and their sign up is stupid. You must do it precisely the moment your slot opens up ... 7 days in advance. Only to find out lanes are strangely not available even if not booked. Why? Who knows? It's all the same water! Then they had some first-come, first served slots, but I don't feel like getting dressed to swim and find the pool full (5 people total!!!)I asked several times for a credit as the equipment was so often unavailable, but was shut down every time.So I quit. They promptly reminded me I'd have to pay a new member fee if I wanted to come back.Sheesh.

Very clean and the desk staff is friendly and helpful. It has a peaceful and relaxed vibe for a gym. Most people are older and very friendly. There is a great warm saltwater pool and hot tub I love that pool towels are provided. I live for that pool! My primary exercise is swimming and I wish it was easier to get a lane or swim longer, but it is by far my best pooloption within driving distance. It is kept around 82-84 which I like. The aqua classes are very popular. I am not really comfortable in large groups so haven’t tried that yet. It would be fantastic to have a small group training class there. The locker room is clean and comfortable and equipped with a suit spinner and hair dryer. The showers are nice and hot. Be aware that someone made the odd choice not to put a door or curtain between the main hall and the exit from the pool…always a refreshing blast of air upon exiting the pool. Some downsides: The pool breaks down quite often. The offerings of exercise classes are limited. I wish there were more evening yoga classes and that they were open until 8. We would love to swim or do restorative yoga after dinner. There is an extra fee for some occasional special interest classes. Given limited offerings I think they should be free. Trying to schedule a trainer for a year has been a major challenge. It is my understanding that has been worked through but I have put in an application twice and spoke with management twice and still don’t have one. I prepaid for training. They are also closed early Saturday , all of Sunday and many holidays. If you live very close by, the class offerings or equipment suits your needs and have weekday availability it is probably a good choice. It is a low key, friendly place and I am comfortable there. I just wish they had a little more to offer.

The pool is constantly in disrepair. And do not mistake this as a temporary issue that once fixed won’t affect you. I am not exaggerating when I say it has been going on for years. The pool heater will be out for a period of days to weeks and they never offer to not charge you. Plus if the email goes to spam you don’t know until you get up early, go out in the cold, and get here to swim. They also have issues with heating the pool deck. So it’s 70 degree water in a cold room.

Semi-hidden gem in Fearington Village. This facility has first rate equipment that is updated regularly and the staff are premium people with top-notch training.

Poor management. Using the excuse they cannot hire anyone to go back to normal operating hours, but they are not posting positions to hire on their web site. Give me the capital to build a place and I would put them out of business. Go to O2 fitness open longer and better managed.

Fabulous staff. We were there to give a talk, which we did outdoors. They were all very accommodating. Highly recommend. Really nice people! And a great audience from the residents.

While the facility and equipment are the best and cleanest, I've ever seen the group classes are the worst I've ever ever seen. I've been a member since November, and I am so disappointed. If you are a senior looking to join because you want group exercise classes look elsewhere. They are overcrowded, and the workouts are tailored for younger people, not folks over 60. Kickboxing to the "noise" they call today's music is not my idea of a positive workout.
