“This was the most unique place I've been to in the mountains of NC. I met so many interesting people and I was only there for around an hour. Old eccentrics, locals, travelers, students, this is a place that welcomes all walks of life and cultures. I was pleasantly surprised to see it and really loved the wide spectrum of people enjoying the evening together. The bartenders were skilled and friendly. I forget her name but one bartender was very helpful and gave us some lesser known hiking trails to check out. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Brevard.”

“Wish you had more of your own beers, but I understand the work involved with that. Had your Chai Amber at White Squirrel Market.. delicious! As for the taproom.. when there are people at the bar, get rid of the chair for bartenders to sit in, there are plenty of people to talk to at the bar, have them up and moving. As a former Taproom Manager, it doesn’t look good, also, part of what draws people in are the people behind the bar, have them engage. Love the beer, space is cool.”

“Food was tasty but not excellent. Breakfast buffet with good variety. Coffee was not great and we had to wait for urn to be refilled twice. Atmosphere was pleasant.”

“I drive past this spot several times a week, but had never tried it. We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed ourselves despite one obnoxiously loud patron (totally not the restaurant’s fault.) The flatbread was yummy and nicely plated and the breakfast burger was delightfully decadent. We really enjoyed the guitarist. The setting is pastoral, and I’m sure gorgeous in the Spring. Wine seemed a bit pricey. We will definitely try this place again.Vegetarian options: There were some vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: I would not consider this place kid-friendly based on our first visit.”
