Over charges...charges for meds not received. If you call about the bill no one answers and if you happen to get someone it's always "the one you need to talk to is at lunch or will call you back" ...then no return call. People you need to really look at your bill! My mother is in assisted living and as far as I'm concerned this pharmacy is getting rich off the elderly.

Not sure how this company stays in business between, billing over charges, incorrect billing statements, and 3 weeks or more of not responding to customer requests for a call back. But they want their billing paid regardless of no response to billing issues.

Southern Pharmacy Services provides a replenishment service for prescription and OTC medications for my parents in a memory care facility. This is the only provider authorized for this service by the memory care facility. I tried to use an online account for automatic bill payment but I was unable to view bill details and every time I logged into the account, I had to reset my password. After months trying to get this to work, I requested that the bills be mailed to my home so that I could see the details and make a payment over the phone. This is a hassle but it was working, until recently. On October 15, I called to pay the Sept invoice. On Nov 2, I received an email stating that I had not paid the Sept invoice. I called the billing department and explained that I had made the payment and provided the name of the employee. Later in the day, I was informed that my payment was never processed and was asked to call back to make the payment. Now, their automated phone directory doesn't work and I have to connect to the billing dept through the operator.If allowed, I would use a different provider that provides hassle free, efficient services, ideally through a functioning online account.

Great folks and great ambassadors for the state of NC. Saved this Alabaman's vacation with their kind and efficient service. As an aside, beware of any angry reviews anyone leaves for a pharmacy containing any variant of the keyword "pain meds," especially those left by "concerned" third parties.

Southern Pharmacy received a hard copy script for pain medication for my 88 year old mother, residing in assisted living. They deliver once a day, around midnight. They made the delivery, but did not deliver the medication, and they kept the hard copy. Now it has been 28 hours, and they are still trying to figure out what to do. Meanwhile the intense pain is causing my mother misery. Mistakes are made, but they can be rectified. Southern Pharmacy makes mistakes, but is VERY SLOW to deal with the consequences.
