In November, my husband & I had a vision for a Loveseat. By chance, we wandered into David’s store & he said he could make our vision a reality! We took a chance & signed on the dotted line with a promised March Delivery. He delivered our lovely piece right on time and it matched our vision exactly! Do NOT hesitate to buy from this store. I am in love with my Loveseat & David. I’m pretty sure he can make anything! We can’t thank him enough! Without his guidance & knowledge, God knows what would be sitting in my living room. We looked everywhere before landing in Z home furnishings, I've got to say that David made our design journey SO easy, he was very knowledgeable in his products, what we could do with it (leather, feet & nail choices). Said it would take 20 weeks, it arrived early and we are both elated and pleased with our 2 couches & ottoman. Received several compliments already! We highly recommend David and Z Home to anyone looking for affordable customizable high quality furniture.

I’ve purchased lots of items from Z Home Furnishings, however being vertically challenged, it’s difficult to find a comfortable chair that fits my short legs. The custom upholstered leather Hemingway chair was a perfect fit! The variety of fabrics and leathers to choose from was amazing and it was great to make it my own! I highly recommend stopping in the showroom in Pineville and checking it out!

I have had 4 custom pieces built by David and his team. When I say custom, I mean custom from special size, to skirting, piping, etc. David has exquisite ideas in design, a huge selection of fabrics and leathers, and patiently worked with me to come up with beautiful pieces that will outlive me. I would give 100 stars if I could!

I was looking for a new chair. I wanted the type that reclined but hid the footrest when upright. Very hard to find a brand that didn't flake after 2 years, like Ashley furniture does, or loses it support, like many models in the "chain" stores do. Dave uses REAL leather - not just leather covered. It breathes - like real leather through and through should. This chair is simply AMAZING. EXTREMELY good construction and ease of use. Leather is simply nothing short than top of the line. Back support is great. Leg and ankle support is great. When reclined there is no hyper extension of knee joints in the typical recliners. It's NOT a lazy boy!!! Dave takes his time with you and will make a chair to YOUR desires and YOUR likes. He won't push you to buy something you don't want. The choices of leather are simply AMAZING. He can do anything with the chair - seat depth - height - he's a master of making the chair YOURS!! Knowing this is hand crafted and LOCAL purchased, LOCAL made in NC - sold!! Bring back American construction and that's what Dave does. Don't look ANYWHERE else for leather products. Z Home Furnishings should be the first AND last place to shop.

We stopped in years ago while looking for someone to restuff/refurb an old rooms to go sofa and it's not what they do, as the couch wasn't made to come apart. Cushions were all sewn on, etc. However, the quality of product for the prices in his store stuck with us. Fast forward a few years and it was time to upgrade the old leather sofas. We knew where to go. We spent probably two hours looking at the products and just shooting the breeze with David. He's a hoot, a pillar of Pineville, and the furniture is genuinely beautiful. We got a full set of replacement leather sofas and couldn't be happier. It's built locally so it feels good knowing it's all well crafted and the money is staying in the region. On top of it all, it was built and delivered in less than 8 weeks when pandemic supply chain issues were running rampant. He underpromised and over delivered. We're already planning on the next purchase.

I love my furniture. Great quality and comfort. The furniture was made and delivered in a timely manner.My furniture makes my living room look totally different. My living room looks much better. I look forward to sitting on my couch and watching TV.

Rob and I only recently discovered David and Z Home Furnishings during COVID and are so glad that we did! Conveniently located in Pineville across from our favorite Oriental rug shop, David's shop first upholstered 2 beautiful ottomans with an old Kilim rug of ours. His work was such high quality that we talked him into making 4 matching pillows. Our last purchase was a made to order perfect leather couch for our den. It was fairly priced for the quality of the leather and the craftsmenship. Pineville is not close to our hometown of Concord but worth the journey!

From the minute I saw the pieces in the showroom, I knew that I would love the quality. It wasn’t until I started designing items with David, the owner, that I knew I had found the absolute best place for furniture in the Charlotte metroplex. He was kind and lots of fun. His creative eye and wonderful stories held me captive each time I would go in. There are a multitude of choices when it comes to fabrics and leathers.
