Very friendly, dedicated staff. Unfortunately this location is not currently set up for sick pets however if you just need a wellness check I highly recommend. It's very nice to have an affordable option and because of this it takes a while to get an appointment. It was worth the wait and we even had our pet chipped. Totally affordable via PetKey.

my husband and i brought our cat for the first time—we just moved to the area—and will definitely return. it was clean, the staff was incredibly kind and professional (we especially loved getting to have Brea help us today), and the prices were great. they also had a special waiting room for cats that was separate from the dogs and i thought that was awesome. our cat can get really stressed waiting in spaces with dogs, and i know sometimes cats can wind up dogs, so it was just super considerate of owners and animals alike. we completely recommend and will be bringing any of our pets back!

I had my cat appointment for today scheduled, received a confirmation text for the appointment answered YES to confirm I'm coming, when I get there the clinic was closed, found post on the door (closed for the bad weather) called automatic machine answering closed for the weather and safety of customer, how this for safety? You made me drive and sent me confirmation text and closed with out notification?!?

I was referred to Stand for animals and I made my first appointment at the Pineville office through the website. I got an email confirmation for an appointment from a stands for animals email address and multiple confirmation text messages and I went in for the first appointment to get my dog his first set of shots with no issues everything went great. He had a follow up appointment for his boosters Three weeks later I never received an email confirmation. All my confirmations came through my cell phone text messages which was perfect as I’m not always in my email. the day of His appointment I drove a half hour to the clinic only to get there and the lady tell me that the office was closed and the appointment was canceled that they sent an email to cancel the appointment because they had an issue with one of their doctors and were closed for the rest of the month. I looked through my emails to see if I can find an email cancellation and it came from SFA email not the same email that I had gotten my original confirmation for the first appointment From and at no point had I received a phone call or a message letting me know that this had been canceled. When I arrived, the lady that was there said she had just sent out a text message. I was probably already on my way. It literally came not even a half half hour before the appointment and I didn’t see it because I was driving and when I asked why they didn’t call she said they had hundreds of cancellations for the month. Why they couldn’t call people on a daily basis for the next day to let them know Or send a message out more than a half half hour prior to the appointment is beyond me. I said to the lady I didn’t see the email since it came from a different address an I don’t check my email daily unless I’m expecting something. I asked Why wouldn’t they call and she said well if I give my email to someone I check my email. It was very rude and unprofessional, especially considering all the confirmations that I got for that appointment came via text message she also mentioned I wasn’t the only person that had showed up because they didn’t receive the email. I ended up having to reschedule my shots at the Charlotte office and now I won’t be going back to the pineville location.

I’ve been going to Stand for animals for a few years This is the best clinic around. You can only star at to the fifth one, but I give them a 10 they are gentle with your animals as if it was their own. They do a fantastic job and it is very affordable. If you take your animal there you will know what I mean, this is an excellent place for your animals
