We have lost power twice in under a year. Both times, it involved a car crashing into a utility pole. (Pineville has an aversion to traffic signals.) That aside, my concern was about the lack of information regarding the outage.The outage occurred at night in January and the outside temperature was freezing. When I called Pineville electric, the call was diverted to the police station. The police had no information regarding how long repairs would take. As a result, we couldn't make an informed decision as to whether we needed to seek shelter at a hotel or if we could ride it out.I have worked in operation centers where coverage was a main priority. That included the ability to preserve lines of communication. It would be a simple fix for Pineville electric to identify an on-call I.CE. person who could act as a liaison between repair crews and their customer base. The responsibility could rotate between existing employees and the identified person could receive a small additional compensation for being on call for that time-frame. Instead, Pineville created a situation where customers were left literally and figuratively in the dark.

I usually don’t take the time to write anything negative but time and time again they have been uncooperative and don’t respond to any emails. Also, the online payment is a complete mess.Would not recommend this company at all.

If it was not for the fact I can't get a diferent Energy Provider where I live, I would. This company will charge you for their mistakes, I am stuck with a 600+ bill from them becuase they mix up some paperwork, my wife called in to fix their mess, but we have to pay for their mistake, watch out I recomend connecting your power with anyone else but them.

Dalton and his partner did great setting up my internet. In and out in no time. Plus they’re internet is cheaper and way faster then Spectrum.

If you want to be robbed of your hard earned coins, use Pineville Electric. The inflated bill has to be the worst I've ever seen. How do you explain a 2 bedroom getting $200 monthly when I hardly ever turn on my TV

Our fiber internet board on the outside panel died last night and their technician Mitchell was both quick to take action and pleasant to work with. 10/10, would recommend him to anyone I know.

I've had services with them for over 5 years. Alwaus reliable, great prices and if I ever have to call for tech support someone comes out the same day. I Have great connecting speeds and work from home often but with Covid daily. They even call as a courteous if you forget to post your light bill.

They claim they have good connection speeds, which is not quite true, because the speed will consistently go up and down instead of remaining constant, horrible for gaming

My bill is always high, and you can only call or walk in to pay your bill which is a huge inconvenience. I cannot wait to move out of Pineville.Update: figured out how to finally pay my bill online, however my bill is still too expensive.

Every time I call Pineville Electric, they immediately come to my house and fix the issue. They have friendly and professional employees. I would highly recommend them for your cable service.

If I could give no stars I would Pineville electric is terrible! How do y’all sleep at night knowing that you over charge your customers to the highest degree. My Duke energy bill doesn’t even compare to the outrageous bills I’ve gotten from pineville electric! All I can say is WOW smh....

I have to agree with the comments regarding inflated electricity charges from this company. When I resided outside of Pineville I never had an electric bill over $80. Since living here, my bills have been ridiculously high (over $160 a month) for modest use and energy saving alternatives. I am considering contacting the media to investigate the inflated costs. It is unfortunate that others share in my experience with this company but I am happy to know that I am not alone.
