I have been coming to this store for as long as it has been in Charlotte. Came in for a new shaft and grip on my wedge; services I’ve received from this store before with great satisfaction. I come in to pick up my wedge after calling to confirm it is ready and there is a decent gap between the ferrule and the hosel. I asked the guy behind the counter why it is like that and his explanation is that “it’s just like that and he can try and sand it down but it’s not going to help”. I asked for more clarification and he explained that it happened because there was too much epoxy and it expanded and made the gap literally explaining that they did a bad job installing the head of the club. After a very rushed session on the grinder. This is what he hands me back. Given my experience with the store, I was expecting my club to look new minus the wear and tear. Not the case.

Corey Johnson is a pga professional that helps you with your clubs in the back. He’s the man and deserves 5 stars. That’s for the lesson bro. He corrected my swing.

I took a half hour lesson from Corey Johnson at the Pineville Golf Galaxy. He works with a Trackman, which really enhances the lesson experience. After the lesson I walked out to the parking lot sort of depressed. I wasn’t happy with what I saw on the video and I certainly wasn’t happy with how I was hitting the ball. I was really not sure about what I’d been told.Cory was very professional during the lesson and spoke with great clarity. He showed me that most of my problems were in the address position. I can’t say that I really believed him at that point. He insisted that work on my swing would have to wait until I fixed address.Corey encouraged me to do certain drills from the correct address position. Over the course of about a week I worked on what he had told me to do nearly every day. I’m not exaggerating to say that the improvement in my game has been truly shocking. I gained 2 clubs on all of my my irons, which still doesn’t seem possible.I had been adding loft at address and adding more loft at Impact zone. Getting into the correct address position still feels weird, but the results have been amazing.I will definitely be returning for more lessons. I cannot recommend Corey highly enough. I’m so thankful that I listened to his recommendations.

My boyfriend and I have had the absolute best service here. Bruce is a gem! So kind and helpful. Every time we have been to this location we have been treated like family. It is so rare to find customer service this great! You can tell every employee wants to actually help you and will continue to work with you until you find a solution for questions you have!

My husband went to exchange a shirt today that he paid for yesterday with receipt in hand. He used points from our score card to purchase the shirt. The manager informed him that he had to pay for the shirt to exchange it despite the fact that he had paid for it yesterday. He left out of frustration without anything being resolved including leaving the shirt that he bought yesterday because he was unable to exchange it for his correct size.

The last two times I've been to this store, the customer service has been terrible. You can't even exchange a shirt.Go to Amazon it's easier.

Went to get clubs cut down. They didn’t even ask me to hold the clubs and yet they suggested 1/2” to be cut. When I asked if I could have a fitting (since the big sign over the club service area says “fitting”) they said that would be $100 on top of the $175 to cut and regrip the clubs. Then they demanded payment up front before the work was to be done. The whole thing seemed very unprofessional and not as technical as one would expect a club fitting to be.

I did a club fitting on Wednesday with Ryan. Not only was he great to work with but took his time and made sure I was not done until I was hitting the ball properly. He had me adjust a couple things in my set up and down swing to determine my settings are fit for a standard set of irons. They even had the set of irons I wanted in stock and was able to get them regripped and take them home the same day. So not only did I leave with new clubs, I left with a better swing and more confidence. Thank You RYAN!!

The staff at Golf Galaxy at Carolina Place Mall is very customer friendly and they go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. I went there Oct 2022 since my Taylormade SIM driver head was 'stuck' to the shaft adapter. After trying hard to get it off, Mike at GG said he would need to break the adapter to separate the shaft and he offered to put a new adapter free of charge (as my shaft got scratched a bit). Well, later I got a call with Mike telling me that they could not get the adapter out of the TM head, and instead, he offered a NEW upgraded SIM2 driver head free of charge! I was happy with the offer. He said they would send the old head back to TM to figure out the issue. The next day when I went to pick up my driver, I got the new SIM2 head plus they also gave me back my old SIM driver head as they were eventually able to get the adapter out. Clearly Mike and the other guys went above and beyond. In my prior visits also they have been courteous, friendly and professional. Highly recommend Golf Galaxy at Carolina Place Mall.

Had a fantastic iron fitting with Keith. He took as much time as needed to find right iron/shaft combo. Really appreciated his knowledge, patience and dedication to ensuring it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

Basically the experience was good. I went in to talk about trading club. I did try out a Callaway Driver and it seemed to fit me okay. However when I told the sales person I was interested he started taking the grip off the new club and put on the new grip. I was expecting him to give me a value before all of that. I was very disappointed in the amount he offered me for my two clubs but by that time I felt obligated to buy the new one since he put the new grip on.

Excellent assistance from Kevin. He pointed out all my issues with the drive while not giving too many pointers. I was at the $100 cost to do a club fitting (I had heard it was only $20-$30 but I was told this Golf Galaxy had new swing station technology), but the cost comes off the club price if you buy there. You have 60 days after the fitting to credit a club purchase.
