“I'm so grateful to have this resource for my students. Every time I visit there are surprises as well as the necessities. We are extremely fortunate in CMS to have these donations and volunteers who are ready and willing to assist with any questions or to load your car when you're done "shopping."”
“Great spot for families and young kids with the family room that is gated off and is full of kids toys, kids books and a little toy kitchen. Snacks were great as well!”
“Thanks to a free event to gather textile materials that would have otherwise gone to landfill, the Innovation Barn helped fuel several upcycling sewing projects for myself and our sewing meetup. We are grateful to have this community resource and are inspired by what's to come!”
“stayed there 35 days, after our son had been lifefighted from winston salem. we had 3 years of life in novant hospital in winston and many trips to charlotte. we had a happy ending after a liver transplant. The Hospitality House was our shelter in the storm. After long days we walked in knowing we had something to eat and and a comfortable bed, then breakfast to start all over. The place was always spotlessly clean and stocked by "ANGELS". The staff was amazing in every way: friendly, caring, supportive and answering questions. STAYING THERE FELT LIKE HAVING A FAMILY. Looking back we would like to thank all the clubs, organizations, businesses, and caring people that support HOSPITALITY HOUSE, You can feel the love when you walk in the door. Everybody needs help, Everybody can help. Give time, send snacks, toiletries, non perishables, cards of encouragement, and donations be a blessing to someone in need”
“Junior League of Charlotte provides so many great opportunities for members to developed their leadership skills and participate within the community. I’ve learned so much about organizations throughout Charlotte who were started by or have been a partner of the league for many years. JLC offers a great chance to get involved with the community and develop skills that easily translate outside the organization.”

It's a rewarding and humbling experience. I highly recommend you go and experience it for yourself. It's exciting to see where the shoeboxes are going that you help process. It's a blessing to know that millions of children around the world will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus!”

“One of the best experiences I’ve ever had volunteering. The staff genuinely cares about what they do. If you want to volunteer at a nonprofit, this is the place for you. There’s no busy work or standing around, and you get to learn a lot about the families they serve. Highly recommend going on a delivery or helping in the warehouse.”
“Promising Pages has been awesome to our organization by providing books to families buying affordable home through our Habitat for Humanity affiliate. It's great to have such an organization promoting literacy in our community.”

They have been there to support her every step of the way along her journey… from supplying her with wigs, hats, and scarves as she endured 6 months of chemotherapy… to having her become part of a community where all can share their experience, strength, and hope, while participating in various activities.”

“Love this school! Great place to start gifted and under developed children as well... nice staff that love working with kids. My daughter really love going to class everyday and I mean everyday! If you want to make sure your child's development is on track and sharp I definitely recommend head start.”
“I want to say a huge thanks to such a unique organization like International House. They help people adapt, learn English, and make new acquaintances. Here I met amazingly kind people from different countries. Every lesson is truly an English conversation! Most of all I want to mention two teachers - Eve and Rony, they make you feel comfortable, they listen to their students, and teach. Each of them has its own teaching format. For example, Rony walks among the students during the class and listens to them, and later tries to figure out grammatical mistakes. I think this is amazing. I would like to attend his classes more often! And Eve shows new words on cards, even brings special details from home, because visually we remember more words!”
“Yes, this Y can get busier in prime time, however you pick your time right and this place is gold. Plus, so many strength training options. Free weights, machines, core, circuit, cardio; wide-open green field. There's so many options to get towards your objective. It's great. Enjoy now, will only get busier as the area gets busier.”
“Decent YMCA with nice weights, but the facilities are limited. There is no pool, sauna, and steam room. The previous review stating this is incorrect. There are Individual showers, which are nice compared to other Y's.”

648 Griffith Rd B, Charlotte“Nourish Up is a wonderful non-profit that feeds the community! I was here with my boss to volunteer a 2-hr shift to help with packing food boxes in the warehouse. Highly recommend this serving / volunteer opportunity because it’s a great team building activity that also serves the community!”
“Went here for free as a Guest from the Hotel in the same building. The Gym is massive with a basketball court, big swimming pool, cardio-, endurance- and strength area with weights. Therefore no waiting to use any of the machines/facilities/ weights. Some of the weights seemed rather old and I personally don't see the connection of fitness and faith. Overall nice spacious gym!”
“A group of us enjoyed the show Lost in Yonkers. The actors were very good which made the show even better. We truly enjoyed it. It's a small intimate theater . Looking forward to going back.”

I've never had a phlebotomist who didn't know what they were doing. The whole experience takes less than an hour each time I go. I count that as efficient and well-organized. I will keep coming to this location to give blood.”
“Great prices, well organized, friendly staff. Definitely one of my favorite thrift stores. I found the same item here for $3 as they had at another local thrift store priced at $20.”
