I know it's open box, but it would be cool if the item was actually what the box was for. Refund was easy enough but then the clerk marked "none" for reason for return so I have no doubt it will be back on the shelf tomorrow.

This is not a retail store, by any means. There are deals to be had, but you need to look everything over carefully. Don't be afraid to ask for a discount if the condition doesn't match the item. Make sure items aren't missing.

I purchased an open box ROG Ally in "good" condition. It was dirty, which is annoying but not a huge deal, but it ended up having a broken button they didn't disclose. I went in to exchange 2 days later, which should be a simple swap. The price had gone up since I originally purchased, and they insisted I had to pay the $75 difference in price - that's just not how a defective product exchange works. I won't be back, and recommend avoiding this store.

I was working business from out of town and needed one thing to save my laptop.
I had to wait for them to open up at 10 o’clock, and come to find out that they didn’t open up at 10 o’clock, they opened up at 11!
I couldn’t hang around, so I went to another place and took care of business

I want to start by praising the Geek Squad before I speak about a very unprofessional sales manager MATTHEW V.
The Geek Squad is Excellent!!!! I have sent many emails to management praising the Geek Squad. I give them five stars but this is not about the Geek Squad. The Geek Squad member I usually deal with has the name Matthew as well. He is EXCELLENT. HE IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH MATTHEW V THE SALES MANAGER.
I went into the store on Wednesday with questions about a TV antenna. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who asked if she could help me. I had questions about purchasing a TV antenna or if I needed one. She proceeded to speak in her earpiece system and ask the sales manager MATTHEW V the questions I had asked. The sales manager did not answer the question I was asking so that led to follow-up questions. MATTHEW V (Sales Manager) was standing at a distance but looking directly at me and NEVER came over to help this young lady answer my questions. The store had just opened so there was NO ONE in the store except me.
This is a horrible display of customer service especially from a manager who sets the tone for his employees. This could have been a teachable moment for her and my questions answered resulting in a purchase.
I left and drove to the Best Buy (Steele Creek) and got a completely different experience. EVERYONE was extremely helpful and nice including the manager. I love writing positive reviews which I have done for so many of the Geek Squad Team but I cannot accept the disregard of a manager who is supposed to set an example for his employees.

It's a place where you can find good deals. You should keep in mind that the equipment here is on sale for repairs, open boxes or unsold equipment. There are new things, but being an outlet it focuses more on what was mentioned and not on what is new. Some prices may seem reasonable and others not, but in the end it is a matter of the consumer.

I bought an open box phone from them and metropcs reported it as lost or stolen so I couldnt activate it. I had to return it back to them and buy a new phone. Hopefully the new one works as intended.
