This Harris Teeter has the worst customer service and is extremely ableist and discriminating towards the disabled , including autistic kids. They are the MOST horrible to people who are disabled and different! Just by the way you are dressed!!! I tried to get a fresh vegetable juice and the extremely unprofessional young red headed bearded man told me besides the $8.99 fee for the juice to which he told me "which you probably can't afford anyway". Afterwards told me I'd have to buy my own vegetables and fruits separately!! Have you ever been to a juicer place in your lifetime that had you do this?? I was in a SUPERMARKET where they have all the vegetables and fruits there available to them??? Besides every single other juice place known to man. This was a scam, straight up discrimination and ableism. He was playing me for a fool. Then he called over another "manager " (who turner out NOT to be a manager) a tall man who backed him up in what he said to me as "the rules of the juicing department". Both looking me up and down in my legging and sweatshirt. I just came from a neurologist appointment so i was dressed normally and comfortably. ( I had a STROKE a few years back) I go for appointments frequently nearby this supermarket ( i walk with a limp and a cane. And this makes them treat me differently??? Ableist much??!?!?!?! ) This is outrageous. And this wasnt the first time either. There is one older man that is in the juicing department and he is an absolute joy...if he had his own supermarket and/or juicing place he'd make millions !!! He has a fantastic personality never has be pay for the vegetables or fruits separately and i just pay for the juice...like I WAS ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO. How do I know this? I finally got ahold of one of the two real managers of the harris teeter and they told me what the real rules of the juicing department were. They were very supportive and nice. If only after that. The cashiers there are very extremely nasty. Only maybe 2 are nice. But the rest wish you never showed up. They are miserable and misery loves company. I love Harris Teeter's items but they need a whole new revamping and new strong disciplined policy on professionalism amongst workers on discrimination and ableism. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau for discrimination and ableism. I hope they change their ways I truly do. I'm not even going to get into how my kids with autism were treated.

One of the best grocery stores around. Not the cheapest but the best. They have a very large variety of items, items it is normally hard to get elsewhere. Their sushi is very good and rivals dedicated sushi restaurants.

I want to say thank you to the home shop department for all the hard work they put into getting my groceries ready for me and loading them into the car. They make me always come back with such an amazing job they are doing.

I'm pretty much done with shopping at this Harris Teeter location! What is wrong with a store that advertises e-vic specials and sale prices and no matter when you go to the store they are out of the advertised products? For the past month I've been quiet about this. I have gone on a Wednesday evening, a Thursday around noon and today a Friday AM befoe noon; i've tried every day and different times. I KNOW better than to go on the weekend so I opt to go on what I believe to be less busy times to ALWAYS find items that are on sale off the shelf! DO NOT tell me that they sold out that fast! Especially when I live 2.5 miles away and I'm in the store almost every afternoon after work for one item or another! Now, I'm just done! AND, if they aren't sold out they are trying to push items that "are less than" a good quality! Look at these Ribeye steaks!!! I don't think so. Look at the ONLY FLAVOR of Yoplait Light on the shelf---I don't think so! Lowe's is across the street---I'm shopping there for a few weeks to see if they can keep items stocked that they advertise! If you aren't prepared to have the items in stock and stock the shelves when low, DO NOT ADVERTISE THEM in your weekly sales adds. I think that you have been BUSTED!

The pharmacists are apparently overworked as they have a horrible attitude when asking why a prescription is not ready even though you have given them more time than they said they would need. i have never had a prescription available when they committed to having it done. I have always had to wait or return back later when they eventually get to it. There is always an excuse as to why but they don't do anything to improve it. Stuff happens but their lack of desire to address and fix this problem is THE PROBLEM. its how you react to the problem, not the problem and therefore HT's low rating If you go online and ask for a refill, they ask for a date & time to pick up but its never ready. You ask them why it not ready when you come pick it up (even though you are hours after the time they said it would be ready) and they respond that they dont know what time the website gives so they just fill them as they get to it. Dont waste you time filling out the website info as its either not provided to the pharmacists or they dont know where to look. Either way temper your expectations. Keep the bar very low as you might have a chance of it being met. Bottom line, is if you dont want employee attitude go somewhere else. if you want prescriptions available when asked or committed to, go somewhere else. If you must come here (prices are decent with coupons), give them the prescription and come back at least a day (preferably 2 or more) later. This, of course, requires you to not run out but it sure reduces the headache dealing with the "teeter pharmacist attitude". it must be nice to not have to worry about how you treat your customers, the rest of the store employees arent this way. Clearly, management is asleep at the wheel in dealing with this ongoing problem

I love Harris Teeter ! I wish they were in my area ( Phila ) and I visit them whenever traveling in the South. On this visit I had some delicious pizza , ribs to go and sides. They also have a great selection of beer and wine . It is an upscale supermarket with quality products like BoarsHead meats!

I can't imagine any other store to get groceries. They have everything! the staff is amazing. The wonderful guy in the wine department is always so helpful. He helped us order beer that we thought was discontinued. We love it and him!! I spend too much there only because I want it all!! Ha. The sales are amazing also! Love this store!!

Management is extremely rude and has harassed me on several occasions while I was shopping also have seen them treat their employees like crap. the rest of the employees are very friendly and helpful that is the only reason I would come back.

Love, love love this place. Lots and lots of variety available. The many prepared foods available were nicely arranged and the variety vast. Some hot foods needed refreshing, they looked as if they had sat for a couple hours without being stirred or replaced. The food we purchased was hot, prepared well and tasty. We especially liked being able to purchase our food and then being able to sit at a table and enjoy our lunch.

Last night I walked straight to the meat & seafood department. The fresh seafood case was so clean and beautiful! I was greeted with a warm smile by Phillip. He was SO knowledgeable and personable! He allowed me to customize my order for our fresh salmon dinner. This store is always beautiful and shop-able, but the customer service at this Harris Teeter is what keeps me a loyal customer! Thanks Phillip, and crew!
