Chanda at Schneider Stone in Pinehurst was a delight to work with. She had a remnant of the granite I was looking for, recommended a cabinet installer (who was also a 5 star) and it turned out beautiful. We couldn't be happier with the final results.

Both the client and contractor/artisan must be respectful of each other’s needs when building or remodeling a home when the homeowner lives out of town. After our first meeting with Chanda I knew countertops were going to be the least of my concerns during my remote remodeling job. Chanda is knowledgeable, patient, respectful of our budget, very organized, with a gift of softly prompting us when choices needed to made or schedules finalized. We would highly recommend Schneider Stone and Chanda.

Schneider Stone has been the shining star of our kitchen remodel. We have remodeled kitchens in the past, but nothing prepared us for the trials and tribulations of remodeling during a pandemic. While the appliance dealer has moved our range out to a 12 month delay and cabinets aren't fairing much better, Schneider Stone delivered the most beautiful counters I have ever had, ON TIME. Luckily for us, the final cabinet delays have been with uppers. Once the lower cabinets were in place, Schneider was able to do the template. Prior to that, Chanda had let us take home quartz and soapstone samples to make a decision. (Other places couldn't seem to find samples.) She also called stone yards to determine who had the best selection of our preferred product. (Other places only gave us a list of stone yards.) The counters were installed on time by courteous and experienced installers. Initially, I was concerned about the fact Schneider has a beautiful Pinehurst showroom. My expectation was that would make them much more expensive than competitors. Nope. They were also the best price! Thank you Chanda and the entire team! I really, really need you to start manufacturing ranges now ;-)

From the first visit with Chanda Strother through granite installation and one small correction to the kitchen sink faucet hole, I had an excellent experience with Schneider Stone in Pinehurst. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to return.

Our experience with Schneider Stone has been excellent through 2 renovations, predominantly kitchen and bathroom. Chanda was helpful, responsive, creative, and a great communicator even though much of the projects were completed when we were living in another state. I highly recommend Schneider Stone.

Working with Schneider Stone was probably the easiest part of my recent kitchen renovation experience. They were very helpful with pointing me in the right direction for the 'look' I was going for, but also keeping in my budget! I can't express enough how refreshing this was! They kept their appointment times, were efficient, and the install was great! I am in love with my new kitchen and will always keep Schneider Stone in mind for any other projects we have.

My renovation has been full of ups and downs, but by far the highlight of the process has been dealing with Chanda at the Pinehurst Schneider Stone location. From the first day that my wife and I went into their showroom, she took the time necessary to properly educate us. Even through our constant changes on the design, Chanda would stay patient and give constructive feedback.The final result has been outstanding, and we have countertops that will last the rest of our lives. Chanda, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you did!

Schneider Stone did an excellent job from start to finish with our new kitchen counters. We started our countertop journey with another company in the area and after getting ignored and treated poorly we went in search of a different company. We stopped in one morning to the Pinehurst location and were welcomed and had the process started and going by the time we walked out. If you want solid customer service, people who truly know what they’re talking about and beautiful countertops, I definitely recommend Schneider Stone!

We chose Schneider Stone because of the professional handling of our project. Countertops are something that most people don’t do very often and the expense and choices can make it a very daunting experience. Chanda was the reason we decided on using Schneider. She is thorough, extremely knowledgeable and a great listener to the needs and concerns of the customer. Her follow through is excellent and she was always quick to respond to our calls.We also had a great experience with a large install. I think a customer will get the same great service and I give Chanda five stars.

Schneider Stone replaced the granite on our kitchen island, master vanities, and on our laundry room sink. Our experience was wonderful. From the help we got in the showroom with Chanda, to the communication of appointments and scheduling, and throughout the installation process, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and timely. I can easily recommend Schneider Stone for countertop installation.
