The teller was very rude. He told me he was the only one working and that would take 45 minutes to a hour to verify my check. Not only was I there at 5pm on the dot but there was no one else there inside or drive thru. I was also told he couldn’t cash it unless I was a PNC member which the check clearly had pnc on it as the bank to go to. Very unprofessional I also called a representative and they said it was no reason he told me that and it shouldn’t have happened that way. For a fee he could have done it. I live in Aberdeen and by a far I will never visit this location again. I rather drive 45 minutes out then deal with that. You get paid to do your job if you don’t want to work QUIT!! Nobody signed up for that but you!!! It also looked like an intern was standing beside him and the look on his face told it all. As if you have no reason to treat a customer that way. I’m a very understanding person I work in customer service and this by a far made my day. =\ 6/4/24 5pm

Just moved to Pinehurst North Carolina from South Florida and I must say that I love this PNC Branch. Amanda, who is the manager is as sweet and professional as can be. Also, her co workers (Francine and Shelly) are extremely kind and professional as well. If you want a bank who treats you like family and really cares, look no further, this is the place to do your banking. Sincerely, Frank O’Neill

This bank used to be amazing but not anymore!! No customer service. People standing around but only one teller for both drive thru and counter!! Today no small money. Miss Martha and Susan, they would never allow this.

My inquiry related to a recently deposited check and it’s validity was completely dismissed by one of the tellers at PNC. As I was stating my concern and whether or not this check was valid, I was rudely interrupted and assured that my funds would be available by the days end and there was no need to worry. Unfortunately, my suspicions were correct and the check ended up being fraudulent. Hard lesson learned, but one that could have been avoided if someone had done their job and taken the time to answer a customers quandary. Shame on you and shame on PNC for taking no responsibility or accountability. Absolutely pathetic.

I quickly found out why I kept my bank in st Pete Florida as a backup. Pnc has failed us multiple times with customer service and accountability at this local branch and corporate wide. I have nothing to say that is kind. Just know that if you want customer service. Consistency and accountability this is not your bank. I typically see everything as glass half full but they have taken that from me and tossed it across the room shattering it.

PNC's protocols must change as they are deplorable & indicative of an institution that does NOT value elderly customers. Specifically requiring elderly immobile customers to report to their respective branch location in person just to rename an account after the death of spouse is a dubious practice at best. Despite the next of kin presenting the Southern Pines branch a power of attorney & a copy of the death certificate the institution's legal department denied the request to change/update the account name to the surviving spouse. I asked the Branch Manager to call the surviving spouse on the phone & validate this request. The Branch manager was content with company policy and would not investigate the possibility of updating the account name by phone & instead required the surviving account owner to report in person to change the name. I wanted to contact the Board of Directors to highlight this deplorable policy & force change, but the branch manager would not provide contact information. Additionally, the branch manager (Britney McMillian) felt it was acceptable to force an elderly immobile customer to report to the Branch location in person rather than validate this request via the phone number the branch location had on file. The Board of Directors needs to be aware of these antiquated practices and force the institution to embrace technology to make the banking experience more convenient, efficient, & personable. As such, I am forced to expose this event via this venue. I would never recommend this banking institution.

In all my years of banking (30+) this Pinehurst branch of PNC and its team has consistently provided me the best banking experience. Helpful and friendly as well as appropriately proactive to ensure I best leverage PNC services and products so my money is working for me. Martha, Taylor, and the rest of the team are simply the best!!

I went to PNC bank for the first time Tuesday and what a pleasure it was! A teller by the name of Taylor took care of me, helped me to sort out a problem with paying a new car loan, and was gracious and kind every step of the way. She was knowledgeable and a great asset to her banking institution. Thank you, Taylor! I plan on returning thanks to your wonderful customer service.
