My mother has been in this rehab for 10 days with a broken hip! The nurses and other staff have been on top of all her needs! There were times that they were a little late with the meds, however, it wasn’t too long before she received them! The rehab person was very understanding and encouraging with her therapy! I recommend this facility for any care you need for your loved ones! No one just stays in there if they are able to get out and mingle with other people; they recommend they do so ! If they need help getting out they find time to do so if they are not busy with other patients! The facility is clean and well maintained and very laid back to make everyone feel like it home! A very caring facility!

My mom has been at Pinehurst Health and Rehab for 2 yrs. This was a hard transition from home but the people at this facility have treated my mama like family. Any issue I’ve ever had have been addressed. Mama’s birthday was this month and the staff went out of their way to dress mama up put on a little make up. The we had a party with our family and staff. Mama is much happier since moving here. She’s made friends and always has someone to talk to. I feel blessed to know she’s getting care she deserves and is safe and happy. Thank you all for being God’s hands extended.

Here is my experience…Good experience working with Jenna in admissions. PT folks were very good and I’m pretty sure they went above and beyond as they would assist with getting patient ready. The call buttons are almost pointless to push as folks either never come or it can take a very long time. Patient rooms are in rough shape and bare bones. Floors need cleaned more frequently and smell in hallways can be bad. Nurses seemed nice but several of the aids were terrible and should seek another line of work. I won’t be taking patient back to this facility willingly.

My husband spent his last days here and we had no complaints. It's not as fancy as some but his care was good, the food was excellent and they handled his passing with grace and dignity. This was in 2014 so things may havae changed but we were very pleased.

The staff have been so kind and helpful. My Mom is the happiest that I have seen her in years. I am forever grateful to this wonderful team of people.

Poor treatment a family member had. The staff were negligent. I wouldn't recommend this facility. The family member passed away and I felt like they were glad to have the room available. 1 person gave condolences and never a card or call. Sad.

While most would agree, the nursing home will never be home, I can't say enough positive things about Pinehurst Nursing and Rehab. My Mom had a major stoke in Sept 2019 and this community was recommended and I've had no regrets since. The Therapy Dept has to the the best around. Therapy 7 days a week, even on Thanksgiving and Christmas! The nursing staff is kind, compassionate and caring. Joan, RN - is the best... always so attentive to our needs and my Mom always speaks highly of her. I'd not be able to mention the many aids - who always treat mom with dignity and care. She states while some are better than others - she give everyone a solid A and since she was a retired teacher in Richmond County, an A is a top grade for these aids who work there! I live out of state and my mom was recently hospitalized and all she wanted was to go back to her room at the Nursing Center... Which made my heart warm, as it's always tough leaving her every time, but I find so much comfort with this community and their caring souls. I know we made the right decision to stay there even after her Therapy was over. I have no regrets, only smiles when I think of this place. So very thankful for them.

I am unable to give this facility any ratings. The skilled nursing here at this facility is below average. The nursing staff showed no compassion or concern for my mother and didn't even give their condolences when my mother passed at their facility. they didn't even assist the funeral home to remove my mother's body from her room. The service here is terrible for the call nurse. It doesn't matter if you have an alarm on your bed or wheelchair the staff doesn't respond in a timely matter. They may be short staffed, but you shouldn't admit patients if you are unable to care for them properly. I see why they have a 49% rating. The rooms are private and bare, no special features. My mother was due to be released to go home for home care services, however, she died before she could leave. I am so disgusted with the staff, please do not take your love one there if you truly love them. I was unable to post this review without giving a rating, so the 1% rating is for the food, my mother did say the food was good.

My grandmother has had 4 pairs of new pants, 4 pairs of older pants and several shirts mysteriously disappear from her room at the end of Dec-Jan. A facility wide search was performed for her clothes (only after asking about them 4 separate times) and no clothes turned up!!! What's worse, this was the 3rd time in a year we have had to buy her new clothes. Now will be 4 times and I feel very concerned it won't be the last. There has no been accountability.

The review website makes you give at least 1 star. Personally I would not give them any stars. Mother-in-Law had bed alarms to prevent her from being able to get out of bad and she got up late at night anyway and broke her hip when she fell. The staff at this place should not be allowed to even health care since they are spread so thin that alarm call buttons go a long time with out being answered and the staff can even be sitting right at the station.
