When we arrived at Kevin Powell’s Ford there was a group of employees waiting to greet us but not just to sell a vehicle but to introduce themselves. My son had made a call earlier in the day and they were serious when they said come on down and can’t wait to meet you. They provided great customer service, were genuinely friendly and I highly recommend the awesome team working at this location!

Our car had some issues on a road trip last month, and we were stranded for several days in nearby Elkin.After being fleeced by a shady mechanic, we decided that as much as we loved the car, we weren’t comfortable driving it 500 miles home.We called Foothill Ford, and they set us up with an appointment first thing the next morning.Took our car in, and they offered us a handshake deal.Josh Barnette kept us in the loop, telling us what we needed to do (send the title. Registered mail.)And the moment they received the title, they immediately sent us a check via Fed Ex. It arrived within 24 hours.So thankful to these folks. They could see our distress, and they were super kind in helping us out.5 stars all the way.

I was charged $1307 for repairs that was done that should have costed at most $600. I told the mechanic to repair the timing. Instead of checking the timing, they replaced spark plugs, checked the cylinder compression,, fuel rail pressure, all unnecessary, all before checking the timing. Then at that point proceeded to repair what I told them to from the beginning. $95 for a $55 belt, and $65 for a $20 spark plugs. 7 hrs at $135 per hr. Overcharged all the way across the board. My advice is to you. Take your business elsewhere! Tell everyone to stay away. Pass poor business practices.

My wife and I decided to drive up on Friday 9/1/23, because our family grew and we needed a more spacious vehicle to accommodate a very active 8 year old and a new born. We noticed they had a couple Caravans and it peaked our interest. When we arrived, we expected the “typical” dealership atmosphere, WOW! We were so wrong, we were created immediately with a smile and a friendly face. Our salesman was Dillan, he was totally professional and completely understanding to our new born and his not so pleasant mood. He showed me a couple Explorers that had a 3rd row but I had asked about the Caravan’s. Without hesitation or trying to up sell me, he showed me right away. Being a salesman myself, I didn’t feel pressured one bit. After a very simple financing process we drove away with our new Caravan!!!Thank you Foothill Ford I hope to do business with you again.

Foothill Ford and Terry McNeil in service took great care of us and our F150 King Ranch! Great communication and the highest say/do ratio we have seen yet. Terry is a great ambassador for Ford! He cares, is sincerely interested in his customers and is focused on doing the right thing! Helped us out of a jam and we had a very nice outcome. What a great dealership. More master mechanics than just about any dealer in the country. Could not be happier!! Thank you Terry!!

As a first-time dealership car buyer, you want the experience to be great. However, the experience with Kevin Powell's Foothill Ford was less than great, and they definitely did not go Krazy for me. To begin, it seems as if many employees are not busy with a task at hand as many are sitting outside idly. This did not leave a good first impression, as in any business, there is always a task that can be completed. The salesperson we were given was very kind, understanding, and patient. However, the manager of this dealership was anything but kind, understanding, and patient. I believe her name is Kathy. She introduced herself, and it was a good introduction. However, things quickly went south after we were no longer interested in any vehicles in their inventory. Kathy was argumentative and condescending in the manner she spoke, with her body language and eye contact. It appeared very aggressive and as if she felt entitled to speak to anyone poorly. Kathy told me I would not find what I wanted anywhere else and that my expectations were essentially irrealistic. It should be noted Kathy quickly apologized after I told her this was poor customer service and that she was being rude. However, this apology felt as if it was out of pure necessity and not because she meant it. I walked out of another dealership that same day with a nicer, newer car for a phenomenal price and a car I would genuinely enjoy driving. I think this is a shame because I am sure these employees earn a commission, and she is ruining this opportunity for her employees and the dealership. I work in customer service, and I hope Kathy will hit me up for some lessons.

Kind and helpful sales people. All helped me with everything I needed to know as I bought my 2014 Ford Escape. I am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a car.

Very great experience. Got my payment where I wanted it! All the workers are extremely nice & resourceful. My credit is not the best, but they did everything in their power to help me! Will definitely be back.

The staff at Kevin Powell's Foothills Ford was very good with selling me my car. Hunter Hensley was my salesman young but very smart. They even helped me get my car insured which I feel was very great and they bent over backwards to help me get my car... I would and will refer them to family and associates of mines when in the market for a new or used car....

Our representative was Hunter he did an AMAZING job. Not only did he get us in a great car for our family. But Hunter always made it a point to go ANOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty for our family and buying a car. I bought a Ford fiesta at Kevin Powell's about a month almost two months ago, at first it wasn't the greatest experience because they would tell me they could get me in a car and then my credit wasn't enough my income wasn't enough etc etc. Now my credit def is bad and I don't make a lot of money im basically trapped in lower income due to life circumstances right now. They asked me if I could get a co signer which I did not think I would be able to do and then my dad decided to help me for once in his life and consigned on the car. At that point I got an awesome monthly payment and the interest isn't bad either. I've been driving the car for about a month and I have a couple concerns with it but mostly it is a good car and drives well. They do have warranties if anything is wrong w the car. Overall, I recommend this place to people with good credit it's not like they advertise where you can get a car no matter what is going on, it's more like you can get a car with a co signer if you're credit is poor. I don't really think I will get another car thru them again but for someone who didn't have many options and very little money it worked out pretty good , just like I say make sure you have a co signer

Honestly i would give them no stars this has been a disaster working with them took 2 days of sitting with them for about 6 hours each day then when we finally get all our stuff submitted after having to keep submitting different information each time they came back it was something different but we finally got approved and drove off lot with the car and all of a sudden next day they’re calling telling us to bring the car back because they don’t accept the income this has honestly been the absolute worse car buying experience I’ve ever had as soon as u go to see if you’re approved for a car they make u test drive and make it seem like everything all good but once they take you back in office it’s something else just wouldn’t recommend!! They’re are nice and did whatever they could to help us leave in a car just seem like something is a little off wish i would have read the reviews before hand because I’ve had a similar experience
