“This is a convenience store with a kitchen that will rock your world with Southern take out. I go for the catfish and since I don't usually plan these stops I place my order and usually have a 20 or 30 minute wait behind the regulars who know to call ahead.They have pretty good prices on cigarettes, too.I have friends who come here to play the video-gambling machines. They keep coming back so I guess they do o.k.Customer service is always good.”

“Love this little store. They make lunch and dinner in house like old school country gas stations. A lot of people think sheetz is the first to do it. They're the first to do it at scale. Country mom and pop gas stations have done it since the start and rosewood food mart does it well. Loved the chicken and pots it wages I got. They also carry native cigarettes unlike sheetz. All aro7nd good place.”

“When I visit family in Fremont I have to get a ham egg and cheese biscuit. My opinion the best on the East Coast. Family get other items like link or patty sausage sandwich and even more home cooked items like a steak and gravy biscuit. Sometimes the line to get this good home cooking is out the door. It has a family atmosphere with seniors sitting around drinking coffee and chatting. Excellent ???”

“Absolutely loove this place! If you haven't been, you're truly missing out. I've been in Goldsboro for two years, and I'm always ordering from here. Its started as one cook renting out a spot in a mini-mart (true definition of "hole in the wall"). My regular order? I go with a large j*** chicken with a coco bread, extra plantains on the side and steamed veggies to replace the rice (lowering my rice intake is quite hard). Every time I step into the mini-mart, the cook knows my order. So far, he has never let me down on taste, preparation, customer service and price. I keep forgetting to post pictures because I demolish my to-go plate each time. Devouring the chicken down to the bone. If you're doubting this review, lets grab a bite together. So far, this is the best Jamaican J*** restaurant I've been to. The food is prepared fresh each time. Never had a piece of chicken undercooked or overcooked from here. I'll make sure I post a picture next week when I pick up my order. Trust me, this is the place to go to when you want j*** chicken.”

“Privately owned, not associated with any franchise, and some of the best service you can expect from a convenience store / gas station. The establishment is perfectly located for those living on the extreme North end of Goldsboro, and also convenient for those on the south end of Pikeville. In fact this is the last store that is available between Goldsboro and Pike. The staff is mostly made up of family members, and they are all courteous and go out of your way to ensure a pleasant experience. If you're a regular customer, that they see on a frequent basis, they will even allow you to take items and pay later. It's a down home , small town oriented establishment, which is becoming more and more rare, and greatly missed by those who grew up in a Time where this type of customer / business relationship was the norm.”

“Great place for a stop when you're out and don't want to go all the way to town. Bj's is right next door and they're always fully stocked, ready to go. Everyone that works here is really nice and it's always a pleasure stopping in. They have a lot of the regular convenience store items but also some hidden gems for good prices.”
