I sent an international package to a country within the European Union from this post office. I don't live nearby, but I travel often from Burlington to Danville, and the place is on the way. As a dual citizen, I have been sending these packages for decades. I know the drill. I know how to write addresses, how to itemize the content, etc. I did the same here. Yet this is the first time any of my packages gets to be returned to sender due to "insufficient customs information." I am very sure I did everything right at my end, and I am very sure that this post office (a rural one, I understand, but they should still know how to send a simple package) did something wrong. Because of the lady here, a child will not receive her Christmas gift in another part of the world. I also lost quite a lot of money. So sad.

Not once have I gone here when they were open. I always have to go down the road to the Ruffin office. This place is open about 10 minutes a week. Don’t waste your time. Just go to the Ruffin office if you’re in the area. Frustrating to say the least.

Normally my experience with this office has been well. However the last three packages mailed to us have been sent to the wrong house, or left at the wrong house in the rain in the case of the third.

My 4th package has been sat out in the rain. Have made 2 complaints to the post office that has went no where. Have talked to the post master at Pelham post office was a joke. He said he would take care of it and 4 days later the same thing happened again. On hold now with the post office customer care number now for 10 minutes and still have not talked to a person. Now they have hung up on me.
