They knew I was a little scared being in my position and said they were coming as soon as possible. That they did. My car as well as myself got to its destination safe and sound. I even had a nice conversation with my driver Chris on the way home. He was very pleasant and professional throughout the entire ordeal. Thanks again guys, esp you Chris! “Yesterday was a day of frustrations, annoyance, and not feeling as if my issue was of importance. I purchased a vehicle from a car lot in January of this year, who "scheduled" an appt for someone to come and correct my key fob issue and have the key in the key fob cut and reprogrammed. Yes, I purchased a vehicle with a key fob that didn't have an emergency key cut and didn't realize it until yesterday. The reason for the appointment was because the dashboard on the car was reading "damaged key" when using the key fob. This car lot had me waiting for over an hour for someone who never showed, never called or texted, and the car lot never contacted me again regarding this issue and still to this day and hour, I have not heard anything from the individual or the car lot. If you would like to know which car lot I am referring to, I would be more than happy to give that information, however, this rating is strictly for Cape Fear Towing with a pinch of what my issue was ([email protected]). After I realized I would probably be waiting all day for someone to show up from this car lot, I decided to have my car towed to the actual dealership. I called Cape Fear Towing and the tone over the phone was very friendly, inviting, and completely changed my mood. I went from feeling defeated, to feeling like my concerns were going to be taken care of. I was told that it would be an hour before they could get the car, I was explained the prices and why the two prices varied (due to the car possibly not being able to go into neutral), and was given the option to receive a call when they were 15 minutes away. I gave them my number and Mike returned my call in a timely fashion to let me know he was on his way when he was 15 minutes out. Best part, he even taught me something about the car when he did arrive to load the car onto the truck. He has one of the best personalities I have seen when coming to running a business and even without trying, he had me laughing. Took my truck to get an oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection and got it for an extremely reasonable price and the folks were nice as well.
