If there is a product missing or something you would like they try their best to have in stock. When the store is about to close, they make sure that within the few last minutes we can purchase what we needed to the last closing hour. It’s very hard for me and my spouse to travel to the store, but when we get there, it’s worth the time and headache for our travel to and from.”

“I am aware that nobody goes to a farmers market for hot food, but their deli section is awesome. They have delicious fried chicken, really really good hamburger steaks (growing up as a kid I used to hate these because it was gray mystery meat, but these are nice pure beef steaks with an awesome caramelized sauce), and I really like how they make their green beans. Also if they have dinner rolls left you should get them because they are really soft and buttery and just generally delicious.”

“I cannot say how grateful and appreciative of this store and the workers I am. There isnt a time, as of recently(since Christina became store manager), that I won’t stop in to buy my items. Whether that ranges from groceries to miscellaneous. They always are stocked and blocked beautifully(ALWAYS), have there sale items actually listed properly, and even the clearance items have the orange sticker on all of them. Christina brings such a warm welcome to every guest no matter what you look like, how your dressed, or even however old you are. If only more stores could be as great as this one. “I have been waiting since Friday (today is Tuesday) for my work equipment to be delivered to this location by Fed Ex.
My employer sent the packages overnight but Fed Ex was not updating their tracking information. I went to this store today just to check and the two employees there were very friendly and helpful and I felt like they actually cared about my packages.
Tonight, I got a call from Sheila- the lady from Dollar General!!!! She was just calling to let me know that my packages had arrived as she had predicted and that they would be available for pickup in the morning. I thanked her profusely and just wanted to give her a hug over the phone! This type of customer service is very rare, but obviously, she's a rare person! From the bottom of my heart, the most sincere thank you Sheila!!”
