I recently spent 4 months at OHVM and I can say that the marina is reflection of the Oriental Spirit one of old time friendliness and service. The small town where everybody smiles, waves and says hello. Ceri Anne the dock mistress isthe personification of that spirit. While there we had 2 tropical storms one directly on us. Ceri Anne organized the volunteers and all people and property were left basically unscathed. Don’t miss Sunday movie night ! Actually read the signal flags, it’ll get you a candy bar. Attend the Marina and town festivities they are regular and amazing. Hangout at the Bean in the morning the tiki bar or the town brewery in the evenings. Oriental is the kind of town that makes even the most ardent wanderer want to settle down. Oh! don’t forget to bring your pets they’re welcome everywhere and some of the biggest celebrities in town are a cat ( aero) and Spanky the lovable cuddly police pitbull both regularly seen at the Bean. Oriental where you can make great friends in short time .PS it’s rumored that one of The Beach Boys was a guest for several months.Thanks OHVM, Ceri Anne, and the people of Oriental truly one of the great memories of this world traveler .CWSV Pelican

The harbor in Oriental is where it's happening in the summertime. Wake up with great coffee from the Bean and cap your night off around the tiki bar with good company & even better drinks. 4th of July is one of the best times of the year to come for a visit.

Great marina right in town, easily accessible with very clean facilities. The dockmaster, Ceri Anne is awesome - very attentive, accommodating and knowledgeable. The marina and the charming town of Oriental is definitely worth a visit.

Very nice marina excellent Dock master Ceri Anne very attentive to boaters safety and the facilities are excellent. New lounge for boaters clean bathrooms and friendly people. Loved being there In time of need. See you next winter.

Unbelievable fireworks display. Beautiful waterfront and friendly people. Terrific for the access you get and the quality of show. If the had it choreographed to music it would be top 5 in the state, hands down! Just a great time and done very well.

Oriental is a tiny fishing and sailing village. The harbor is lovely and we has a good time being there.

Seems like a large marina that is well kept. They definitely thought ahead to use cement instead of wood when building the docks. Never saw that before.
