The Inn at OrientalIf you are planning a visit to Oriental, NC because you have experienced the charm of this small, coastal community, you could not find a more charming Inn to complete your stay.The owner is lovely and welcoming. The rooms are generous in size and you feel the ambiance of being in a carefully restored Inn. Breakfast is included and wonderfully prepared. We loved our stay at the Inn at Oriental. Such a charming house that is perfectly located near the Marina. The owner Kate and her family were very thoughtful and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Delicious breakfast too. We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Oriental.

We had the pleasure of staying at this recently remodeled bed and breakfast for a little couple’s getaway weekend. Everything about it was just as charming as we hoped. Our room was warm and inviting, the common areas were cozy, and the surrounding community offered the quaint, small-town sailing community vibe we were looking for. Kate and her assistant Brody couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be visiting again.Rooms: The rooms were impeccably cleanwith all the amenities we could have hoped for, including direct access to the outside with a cute patio and seating area.Walkability: The Inn at Oriental is walking distance to the water, including waterfront restaurants and bars.

I recently stayed at the very charming Inn at Oriental and had a wonderful experience! Booking and check-in was very easy, and the owner/host was extremely accommodating. My room was freshly painted, spacious, very clean, and quiet. I also loved the nice walks to the local coffee shop in the mornings. If you find yourself in Oriental, NC and need a place to stay, this is a wonderful option. Such an easy recommendation. I'll definitely be booking again next time I'm in town!

Great place...the new owners have made some nice improvements. I have stayed here many times over the years and I'm happy to see what Kate can do with it. Very welcoming and comfortable.

The Inn was supper hospitable, accommodations were spacious and clean. The location is central Oriental and within walking distance to the waterfront.Nearby activities: M&M restaurant, Waterfront and Oriental Marina. Theater and Novelty shop across the street.Walkability: The Inn is well located to walk to the nearby activities.

Kate was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I stayed in the Nantucket room, which was very clean and comfortable. Our breakfasts both days were delicious. Kate definitely pays attention to detail and makes sure her guests are comfortable and happy. Her mom made an amazing coffee cake as well. If/when we make it back to Oriental, we will stay at the Inn at Oriental again!Nearby activities: Barcos restaurant really delish, Taproom next to inn that brews there own beer and live music outside on weekends. Also New Bern is only 30 minutes away.Safety: Very safe place to be inWalkability: Oriental is a small, quaint town. You can easily walk or ride a bike.Food & drinks: See notes under activities

From the moment we pulled into this charming bed and breakfast, we were enveloped in a warm embrace of hospitality and comfort. Our stay exceeded all expectations, leaving us with memories that we will cherish forever.The exceptional service provided by Kate and her family is what truly sets the Inn at Oriental apart. There is a genuine warmth and enthusiasm that makes you feel truly cherished as a guest.We spent our evenings sipping tea and sharing stories in the sunroom with other guests. The sense of community fostered by this intimate setting was truly heartwarming and added an extra layer of warmth & comfort to our visit.Our time here was nothing short of magical and we cannot wait to return for another lovely getaway.

We were there 10/20/23 thru 10/22/23 in the room at the bottom of the stairs…the Charleston….unfortunately we encountered bedbugs….still suffering the affects, see pics below…………and as for the response to my review…….I’m most definitely not mistaken…….. we were in that room under the name

The Inn at Oriental is beautiful, and so is the city in general. It's very close to the beach and you can do shopping and eating out very easily. Lou and Lucy are very kind and welcoming and they serve a great breakfast in the morning. I loved having a spacious room with a private patio. I recommend this place to anyone.

Cute, quiet place. Had a great stay. Room was clean and neat. Comfortable bed. Very nice quiet breakfast and great hospitality. We arrived late and Lucy was nice enough to stay up to be sure we got in our room and had everything we needed. Thank you Lucy and Lou for the great stay. We'll be back!
