5 stars x 10! Chad is amazing at his job and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. I brought my gravel bike to him after noticing a crack in my carbon fork. Chad was able to find me a replacement in record time for a fraction of the price I was expecting to pay. He did a great job repairing my bike, but also spent time fitting the bike to fit me better so I could get the most out of my rides. He truly cares about his customers, and community, and just wants to get people out on the trails. Honestly, can't say enough amazing things about Chad and if you're looking for a local bike shop (even if you live in Asheville,) consider Old Fort Bike Shop. You won't be disappointed :)

My kids and I stopped in and met Chad. We are new to bike riding never been on a trail and came in to get some advice. He was extremely nice. and loaded us down with very useful information. And never not once tried to push us to buy anything. I am an Old Fort local and it is great to see his bike shop here in Old Fort. I hope that he is very successful and is here for a long time. And we will be back ???

We came down to ride the new Lower Heartbreak Ridge trail and my derailleur sheered in half about half way up the Star Gap climb. I thought the day was ruined. So we went to the Old Fort bike shop and Chad was on it. He installed a fresh derailleur on the spot, so we were able to get right back out there and get our ride in. He was fun to talk to while he was working and he provided some good information to some other folks looking for trail recs.

This is the kind of business you should drive a little extra outta the way for. They sell a little of everything even BMX. Chad is knowledgeable and excited to talk about bikes with you. It doesn't seem to be just about making a sell to him. I got the feeling he just wants you to enjoy the bike lifestyle/hobby to the fullest!

Stopped in while on a bikepacking trip. Bought a couple small things and Chad helped quickly diagnose and fix a problem I was having with my bike. He even helped me understand more about what my route would be like that day. Great guy, highly recommend!

Chad is awesome to work with! He is super knowledgeable! I told him what I wanted to have done on my bike, and he did exactly that! I really enjoy riding my bike! It's a 1991 Bridgestone City Limit CB-1! If you anything for your bike, give Chad a try!

Stopped by for the 1st time on my way to the trails. Chad is a stand-up guy and treats everyone like an old friend. I've been to over 5 bike shops in the area, and Chad's was the most welcoming.

Wow! Real caring service with a mile. Needed a mountain bike for my wife and Chad filled the bill exactly. I’ve been biking for 15 years and he had it nailed from simple explanations to the most complex. It was great working with Chad and he had the perfect fit for the wifey.
