The workers at Tradewinds were really helpful getting us set up for surf fishing & answering all of our questions. It's a one stop shop for everything you need for fishing. I caught a red drum my first day :)

Open daily seasonally mid March to November end. Retail shop on Ocracoke Island specializing in all surf, inshore, and offshore fishing needs as well as beach goods and clothing. You can find over 100 different models of rods and reels from name brand fishing manufacturers like Penn, Tica, Shimano, Sea Striker, and Daiwa as well as others. We provide line winding service and NC fishing licenses. We have a complete line of clamming and crabbing supplies. The staff will get you fishing with the right equipment in the right locations on Ocracoke.
