I don't think they had restrooms, so I ate my meal at the nearby beach access that did have restrooms--under the principle that you might not want to leave acidic foods on your hands for long.

272 Irvin Garrish Hwy, OcracokeOur go-to place for ice cream on the island. The woman who runs/owns the place is super friendly and an absolute hoot. Love that this is on the harbor and there’s plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the scenes while eating our treats. Several different flavors of ice cream and fudge to choose from. They’re always accommodating too if you want to try an ice cream flavor before committing to a full cone.

9106-A Coast Guard Rd, Emerald IsleAshley was our server and went out of her way to take care of us, even offering to go to their coffee shop next-door for a chai latte for me when I asked for a hot Tea to warm up with! She might be the most attentive and genuine server (and probably the best we’ve ever had at any restaurant)! I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but her friendly & attentive service absolutely needs recognition! The sweet potato fries were out of this world! Albeit, a bit pricey but the absolute best I’ve ever had! My husband and I had the fillet Oscar which was exceptional (and without the hollandaise sauce - not needed in my opinion)! We will Definitely be coming back more often!

We found this place while visiting Ocracoke and we were so happy we did. Good service and I was told good beer. We will definitely be back next time we are out that way.
