Great little campground. Very good service and help from the staff . Only issue was the waste water drain was about a 8 inches above the ground . It just made clean out a pain not a big deal but a pain .

They went above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful camping experience! The facilities were clean and well stocked- they were always available to help if we had any questions and the breakfast was amazing!! Genuine and authentic people- felt safe and had a great time! Thank you and can't wait to visit again!

Clayton, his wife, her father and mother are AWESOME! We had a great time this week. Set up our 40 ft coach with no issues. The hospitality this group offers is so above and beyond expectations.The breakfast and lunch in thier diner is amazing and not overpriced as much of the island fare is.Thank you so much for all you did to ensure our family had a great vacation on a wonderful island. This campground was a great home base for our time on Ocracoke. Drew was so nice and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The bathhouses are individual so you have an air conditioned place to use the restroom, shower and get ready. They were clean, stocked and felt like home with decorations and small touches. There are not many sites but we were able to back in and level with no issues. This is a great way to enjoy the island with your camper. They do rent golf carts, highly recommend for buzzing around. Also recommend getting the ORV pass for the National Seashore to drive on the beach. The attached gas station has air pumps to pump back up your tires. We wished we had planned for more days here. We will be back when we visit Outer Banks again!

This campground is located in town. We were able to walk to town. They have nice showers. They have a laundry facility. Limited tent sites. They're not a lot of sites here but this is a great location.

I had such a great time here. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The bath houses were very clean and kept well stocked with paper towels and toilet tissue, plus they are very spacious with separate air conditioning and heating units. The water pressure was low in the sinks but the showers worked perfectly. The spaces are big enough to hang out and enjoy the weather, also trees for shade are in the campground as well. It was pretty quiet for a campground so close to everything and we could hear the music from a local venue which was rather nice. Within walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants, and stores. The campground itself is also very clean and well maintained. We were allowed to stay little longer on check out day (since no one was coming to our site that day after us) because our ferry was leaving later in the day. I will be back to stay here again, hopefully really soon.

This is no luxury RV resort! It's just an unimpressive converted back yard. Having said that, its location on Ocracoke is perfect, and the folks who run it are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They serve great food in their little cafe, rent golf carts for touring the village, and keep immaculately clean bathrooms. If you just need a friendly place with hookups to park your RV while you enjoy Ocracoke, this is your best bet.

Me and my family come and stay here annually and there are no complaints from me! Bathrooms are kept clean, great, safe place for the kids to play and enjoy themselves, and all staff are EXCELLENT!! 100% will keep coming back!!

Had a great time visiting Ocracoke for the first time. Drew was hospitable, and very informative. Right next to a convenience store, vacuum, and air pump. Beach access #72 is only 2 mins away. Make sure to buy permits (must be displayed on windshield)Went off season- so didn’t get to eat out much but- enjoyed the local stores, and seafood markets. Eduardo’s food truck was amazing!We will definitely return!

We love to stay at Jerniman's!! It's close to the beach, and Jamie and Clayton are always great to us!! We go 2-3 times a year, and we look forward to it everytime! And it's pet friendly, which is a huge plus for us!

Clean, quiet, safe campground. Excellent location by Ocracoke Station. Walk to 1718 Brewery, Howards, Jason's. Gas station and store right there, bakery across. Large, grassy spaces. Place was bug sprayed one night but did not seem to help. Bring bug repellant. No wifi.Bathrooms could be cleaner but i blame messy campers, not owners. #4 bath house had hot water in sink but not shower during the 4 days we were there. (Ragland #9)

Jerniman's is our go to place whenever we go to our happy place. They treat you well, keep the place clean and cheerful, and do their best to accommodate whatever you need. Definitely recommend!
