We stopped here on our way out of town after visiting Ocean Isle. As we always do. We were paying with cash My husband goes in and tells them he'd like the pump turned on while he shopped and then would pay for it all.I was to stay at the pump then fill gas when it turned on. Simple right? We have done it this way multiple times without a problem. Today.... It was a problem. We would have to pay 1st before running the pump . My husband had to shop first. Put money down go pump and come back for change. Why is it an issue now to have one person at the pump and one in the store until the pumping is done.
Next time we will go elsewhere.

Great staff and the made on-site food is very good. I would recommend the chicken sandwiches (regular and spicy) both are very good and can hold their own with a well-known chicken restaurant that isn't open on Sundays.

One of the best gas stations I use regularly even if I don't need gas. They finally found a good plumber to get the restrooms going again! Not on the Getupside app yet and that Shell Rewards program is hit or miss at all the Shell stations thought out the area.

Bought a carwash at the pump only to find out it wasn't in service. Store clerks were obviously irked at the 10th customer wanting a refund.

Prices are always higher here at Exxon, from gas to assunderies and everything in between, even more than other convenient stores. They seem to be very proud of their stores, even when store is dirty and they charge the highest prices, they stay the same and never seem to care about making store better for the sake of their customers.
