My daughter came home and she seemed like a whole different person. Her personality has changed so drastically. She hated it!

I attended Oak Ridge for two years and graduated in 2021. The leadership and staff care about the success of the students. The young men and ladies learn to responsible citizens and leaders. One of the things that sets this school apart from some other military schools, is they do not accept every student applicant.ORMA Alumni

I wasted my time by applying for the summer program here. This place does not want to help the kids that really need it. My son has a suspension for making a bad decision with something on TikTok. They asked for further information so I had to do the research and I explained to them there was some mix the kids seen on TikTok that was cough syrup non drowsy, jolly ranchers and soda and his friends requested that and he brought it to school. Because of that he was suspended. I have taken away several things and he has been punished for this. I apply here hoping to teach him discipline and to make better decisions and they deny him. This means they don’t want to out the work in. If he had not done that I would not even need them! I had to pay a deposit for them wasting my time! I truly don’t feel they heart is in it!! They not there for the kids who need them!! Don’t waste your time they pick and chose as they want and punish kids instead of trying to help as they advertise.

Waste of time and money spent there!! Lies and more lies, that school is a big scam, thought they teach your kids discipline instead they just take your money, my daughter didn't have a math teacher for a few weeks, they robbed me my hard earn money, they don't have any heart at all. Yet they are still charging my card, after all the bullying my daughter went through, they actually will scream in year, and no math teacher for a few months

How this place has ever received 5 stars boggles my mind. My daughter came home more disturbed after leaving this place. There were so many stories that came to the light once she was home (even doctor's testing/evaluations), that I'm embarrassed to say or admit that I sent my daughter to this school. I would highly advise against placing your child at this establishment.

I attended ORMA from 1981 to 1983. I enjoyed every day I was there. I was in Band Company and I played Basketball( Jr. High and Varsity). It was a great time in my youth. Thanks for the memories.

My son went to this school for 6 weeks and I was charged $26,000 and I have to pay on a loan that didn't even go towards my son's education. The school got 26,000 of free money and spent it ever how they wanted to.They refuse to give me my money back. I would not recommend this school. I'm highly disappointed and furious.

We have really seen a big change in our son after enrolling him at Oak Ridge Military Academy. The school is exactly his speed as far as academics and the 1:1 instruction hes able to get from his teachers. We went from Ds and Fs in public school to As and Bs at ORMA. We also went from "I dont care about school" to "my GPA is so important". The discipline and routine has really made him thrive and he really enjoys the dorm life with his friends. He is a 7 day boarder and its rare that he requests to come home because he likes being at ORMA. Our family was lost and really felt like our son was going down a bad path in life and ORMA has given us hope. He really is a different kid and I am so grateful we found such an amazing school for our son. I would highly recommend ORMA to any parent looking for an alternative to traditional school.

By all means, SEND YOUR STUDENT HERE! Faculty, staff, students--they're all great. Deciding on ORMA was one of the best things my family has ever done. I hope that many more families will experience what we have at Oak Ridge.

This school was instrumental in my successful career in the military and federal law enforcement. The discipline, camaraderie, and structure was exactly what I needed as a young man. I highly recommend this school for students from all walks of life. While at ORMA, I made relationships which have lasted a lifetime.

My son was a junior at the local high school last year and failing nearly every class, mostly because he had given up on himself as had his teachers. He is a smart kid but was focused more on having fun and had no focus on the future. I felt he needed to repeat all of his junior year, but there are no options within the school system or at most private schools in the area that would allow him to repeat a grade. ORMA was my last hope as I honestly felt my son would either drop out of school or not be eligible to graduate if he remained in public school. Thanks to Major Forde and others at the school, ORMA allowed him to repeat the end of 10th grade and now he is repeating 11th. He has thrived at the school! He now wants to go to college and he has become one of the leaders on campus. ORMA has been worth every penny! I truly believe ORMA has saved my son’s life in so many ways and I look forward to what the future brings for him.
