Why is this location always closed? The website says open but I have up there 3 times in the last 2 weeks and keep seeing handwritten note on door…. What is happening ?

Pulled up on 5/28/2024 at 5 PM…website says open, but someone put a sloppy handwritten sign that states “Sorry! Closed 5/28”. Just wondering if this is an acceptable way to operate a chain store where no manager is available to cover a shift? I’m not sure if this was due to some type employee health emergency or just a scheduling issue..but being from a northern state where the pace is a lot less lay back, all I know is heads would roll where I live if someone shut the entire store down for a day, and just left a handwritten sign on the door. That’s all I’m sayin.

Worst Dollar General ive ever seen. Seems like theyre always closed. Ftrried to go there like 4-5 different times just to find a hand written not. On the door staing theyre closed that day. & even when they are actually open. 90% of the time i have to use self check out because nobody is at the register. Honestly ridiculous and should just do us a favor and permanently close please. Cause they stay closed anyways so..... & p.s. i would give negative stars on this review if i could. Dont know how they have 4 stars lmao. Must be the owners or employees leaving the other reviews... this business SUCKS!

This walking to the door only to see the doors locked and a sign on the glass, stating you're closed, is becoming very old!! Fast!!! This is weekday, weekend doesn't matter.No other store on the island does this. Or Is allowed to do so!

Need accurate store hours. Online states open at 8 on Saturday and Sunday but there is a sign on the door that states 9.
