Amazing autoshop, we came to NC from Philadelphia. Our coolant was low and they checked our levels, filled it up and wouldn't charge us for it, even after I offered to pay. Great southern hospitality. Definitely come check them out if you're in the area and need service.

I wouldn't take my vehicles to anyone else, truly the best of Brunswick! This is a Family owned business, run exactly how it should be! They are honest (which is saying a lot) and for me, that goes a long way! My vehicles have never been anywhere else but here for Everything under the hood and beyond!

I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma that hasn't had AC for around 8 or 9 months. I took it to another auto repair shop who seemed unsure what the issue was. I took it to Boys Under the Hood and left it overnight. My appointment wasn't for the next day but they fit me in the evening I dropped it off and called me to inform me it was the compressor. They placed an order for the part that day and had it the next day. I received a call around 1400 that my trucks AC was completely fixed for an amount that was fair and not bloated. I CANNOT express enough how absolutely amazing everyone is here from the front desk to the technicians. Extremely knowledgeable and customer service is absolutely outstanding. I will forever take my vehicles to this location. Keep up the excellent work!

Dropped my F150 off because it kept blowing coils and figured it was another blown coil, also had them look into the squealing around the pullies and belt. They found the high pressure fuel pump to be the issue instead of blown coils. They also found the serpentine belt worn being the cause of squealing around pullies. They ordered me a new high pressure fuel pump and installed it, they installed the new belt, and adjusted the pump. If this wasn't satisfactory enough already the mechanic took the time to research into what could be my issue blowing coils in the past and found the cooler had water in it and drilled a weep hole in it (this was the fix that I had found online already but he took it upon himself to research into my specific truck and it's issues with blowing coils). Now Im blown away by this as I run a marine mechanics service and am aware that this extra attention and care of the job is not displayed by most. Time from drop off to pick including shipping of part was 3 working days! Now here the best part, when I got the bill the labor costs where about a fourth of what I had expected and would have probably charged myself. I'm only giving 5 stars on this interaction because unfortunately I can't give them more. Amazing job guys! And did I tell you, the actual mechanic that worked on it came and spoke to me while I was paying, he told me everything he'd done and what he'd found. I will go no where else!

I went here for an oil change, tires rotated and inspection. They refused to rotate the tires and charged me $143.43 for an oil change and inspection. My last visit.

We have used this mechanic shop for years and they have always done an excellent job with all our vehicles. We had an issue with our trucks fan not shutting off, and they fixed it in a matter of minutes. Thank you guys so much for treating us so well all these years!

I tend to have newer cars that don't need a lot of maintenance before I wind up trading them in but anytime I have any issue whatsoever they always seem to squeeze me in and do a high quality job at a good price. Friendly competent Fair and I feel always honest. If there's a cheaper way of doing a repair they'll discuss it with you. Give them high degree of trust and recommend them

On vacation here on Oak Island and noticed a slow leak on a rear tire. Boys Under the Hood was around the corner from where we were staying. Called them about 8:30 AM and ask if I could have them take a look at my tire. They were booked for the day but said if I dropped it off they could work it in between jobs. They called about 11:00 AM and told me they resolved the problem. When I picked up the car they showed me a bent 16 penny nail that they pulled out of the tire. The repair was quick and very reasonably priced. So glad my son recommended these folks. A real professional business that I would use again and recommend to anybody who needs an automobile repair. Five Stars!!!
