No help whatsoever, lady in the desk was very rude and didn’t even help at all. She cared more about fixing her eyelashes than helping out a customer. She was also rude.

Absolutely terrible service there. It took the manager Micheal Hooper 3 months to get me and my wife some checks for our new account. We were supposed to get a debit card also but it never came after being told it would come around the same time as the checks. Out of 5 emails, Micheal would respond to 1. Out of 5 "I'll call you back after lunch or later", he called once. It was so bad, he used his kids as an excuse. That's how bad it got. I finally had enough and went to a different branch. They were able to help me and my wife get our debit card in about a week. I think I was extremely patient with this person waiting as long as I did. Let me remind you, this was the manager of the bank. I would never go there again. I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves zero stars.

I called this morning and asked to come in without an appointment to open accounts for my kids. The man on the phone said I could but when I arrived I was told I needed one. I relayed that I had called and Sean allowed us to come in. I did not expect to be in and out since I didn't have an appointment but Sean and Erica were kind and helped us out. 2 other branches in the Hickory area wouldn't pick up the phone and a 3rd one told me we couldn't be seen until next week. I'm so grateful for their help and kindness!

Rude staff… I don’t like going here but since the conover Wells Fargo closed, I have to go here. Very slow service as well. Crystal is the one that was very rude to me and I heard her be rude to other customers as well. I don’t like coming here.

The teller was polite, but when I walked in to deposit the fat unpleasant looking Karen lady who I assume was the manager approached me and acted like I needed special permission to transact on my account. She asked me what I was there for and gave me a dearth state when I stated the obvious. Me and my boyfriend keep a sizable portion of our funds here and banking is a buyer’s market. The least they can do is treat me with respect anytime I need to come in.

While the local team is supportive, always remember you're dealing with a large bank where decisions aren't made locally. We received a letter, not a call, or email, that our business account was being closed and the decision was final. During a global crisis, they chose to do this to a small business with no negative banking history or events. I recommend considering smaller banks where relationships matter, and decisions are made locally, such as Peoples Bank NC.
