Final response to owner: The Amount of energy needed to refute absurdity is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it-
When my dog Chloe was very sick, could not stand and was urinating on herself, I called this Vets office which at the time was where I was taking all my dogs to. At the time I called them she was still able to stand on her own but Deteriorated very quickly from the time I called and when she was supposed to go in for the appointment. I called them 3 different times to say this was an emergency and could we please bring her in early? My husband called 3 times and told them the same thing and each time we were both told "You can bring her early but you will probably just have to sit out in your car an wait for your appointment time anyway". I was in absolute shock, I could not believe what they were saying, when in fact they have it stated in a recording when your on hold to let them know if its an emergency. We were absolutely heartbroken and after we finally got her into the appointment we were told that her kidney/bladder were failing- I okayed her to stay for a couple of days to try and see if giving her fluids would help but at the end the Vet called and told us that she wasn't getting better and would have to be put down, I was at work so I could not get to the vets office right then, the Vet then told me she could put her down right then and I didn't need to be there for it. I couldn't even fathom what had just came out of this woman's mouth, like I would actually agree to my dog to be euthanized with a complete stranger and no one around her to comfort her before passing. I told her no and that I would call my husband, he then went to the Vets office with our 3 boys to say good bye to her. After Chloe was put down I started looking for another Vets office. The Vet who was there and who put Chloe down was not Dr.Seacreast but another Doctor, I believe Seacreast had that day off. I do not recommend this Animal hospital to anyone, the vet who was covering did not have any empathy or compassion for what I or my family were going through having to put our family pet down and the receptionist could have cared less that our dog was suffering and dying, she couldn't be bothered to try and get us in any earlier than our appointment time. It felt like they didn't care about our dog or that we had just lost one of our family members. We found another Veterinary hospital that isn't under staffed and that will try their absolute best to fit you in if its an emergency. The picture below is the last picture I have of Chloe and she is in a room at this Animal Hospital with our boys saying their last good byes.
Response to the Owner: That's so great that you have hired all new employees after 3 years and hopefully you can gain back the trust of the pet owners that went to this facility in the past and the ones that continue to trust Dr. Seachrist with their pets. I made it a point to clarify that Dr. Seachrist was not the one we saw and had a absolutely horrifying experience with. I feel she genuinely cares for the animals in her charge. And yes we did take our Cane Corso Ruca who is reactive and has fear aggression there for a brief time and then we got a wake up call when the vet who saw her for her yearly visit proceeded to give her a shot and then charge us the full amount for the visit, blood work and all- which was never taken. So we decided after that we would take her and our other dog to a place that was better suited for their needs. I'm very glad that the vet who saw Ruca that day no longer works there and hopefully with the massive turn over in employees you can find the right people that have empathy and compassion for the animals and families that are brought to your facility for care. Truly wish you the best of luck with all your endeavors and I hope that with the new ownership that all your employees are properly vetted so what happened to our family in 2020 with Chloe and just last

Had our dog there on July 7th for his anal glands/ nail trim and eye infections with Dr. Sechrist. Gave him NeoPolyDex for his eyes. Scheduled a two week follow up. Two days later had him at an emergency vet office. He was in terrible pain and labored breathing from his eyes. Try to take him back to Newton to begin with. No vet was there on Wednesday. Didn't want to give the emergency vet office his records. He had a bad ulcer on his left eye. If they had stained his eyes like they should have they would seen it. He won't eat and made is heart worse with the heart murmur. His heart is enlarged . Rated his heart murmur now at a 4. His glucose has dropped and had been given fluids and dextrose. Been taking entryce to help him eat but not working. He has really went down hill and was fine 3 weeks ago. May not have him with us much longer. Bill was $163 at Newton and a waste of money. I had him back to the emergency vet 3 times and have spent close to $1500 now trying to save him. UPDATE 8/1 he died this morning thanks alot. Vet 4 times now around $1700 spent . We lost a member of our family. Go to Shadow Ridge in Rutherford College they are very thorough with tests and they make sure what the problem is and what caused it. Very passionate and called a lot on how he was doing. We tried all that was possible. Newton should have paid that bill and if he had been treated right in the first place my dog could have lived a little longer. They never called us and even asked about him. Wish my Bruno was still here .

Very good place with amazing staff been a client for over 8 years never once had an issue until last visit went for a puppy weigh in and to get heart worm meds Another person was there with a overly big dog that was aggressive towards other pets Her and her monster of a dog had all others sitting outside with scared pets while
she sat there totally oblivious of other people Wasn't the staffings fault but maybe with pets that large and aggressive have them wait in their car for a text when a room is open to bring their pet inside Win win for everyone

My elderly dog is primarily seen in Charlotte, but was having health issues yesterday that I decided to try to get seen locally. Not only were they able to work us in same-day as new patients, the entire staff was so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They all spent so much time with us that I cannot believe that it's a one-vet hospital. They also gave me pricing estimates upfront and made sure I was comfortable with staying. I am very invested in my dog's care and would never hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone. Dr. Sechrist and staff were so very impressive and kind during our time of need.

This veterinarian just turned away our severly attacked dog stating they were understaffed. I hope they know how cruel it is to turn away a dying animal. Don't you take some kind of oath in Vet school. Rating 0, compassion, 0. Highly suggest you take your business elsewhere.

My recent visit to this hospital was exceptional. The staff was professional, helpful, and made sure my pet and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The veterinarian and vet tech were very knowledgeable and thorough in their examination, giving me confidence in their diagnosis and treatment plan. They also took the time to address all my questions and concerns. The clinic's pricing was reasonable compared to other veterinary clinics I have visited in the past. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Sechrist and staff for their professionalism, compassion, and expertise.

Greatest vet clinic I have been to so far. Always get greeted with a smile and the care for our fur babies is far above average. I wish I had known about them a long time ago. The prices are fair and they don't push to "up sell". They will give advice on what is needed and give you a quote but they will not push you to get more than you can afford.
