Just walked in got a drink but had to inconvenience the lady behind the counter I interrupted her busy day off scratching scratch offs. She should be stocking cleaning or something other than doing scratch offs. She had a whole pile of them on the counter.

We came to the gas station hoping to buy some snacks after going to the park. After looking around we had snacks in our hands. My little sister who is 7 years old was hoping to buy a slushee. She asked me “what about my slushee” and a lady in the back started yelling at us saying this isn’t a playground. We weren’t running around or causing trouble, we were simply just looking around for some snacks. After she yelled at us, me and my boyfriend put our snacks back because we felt disrespected and because we felt that there was no need to yell at us. We then simply walked away and went to Food Lion instead.

Lady that was working there at October 21st around 6:25 pm must hate her life life or something to be yelling and getting mad at a 7 year old for simply asking us for a slushee

I stop by here all the time and the employees at this location are great. My wife even shared her cookies with one of them. Another one seems as OCD as I am, she organized all my scratch tickets by size. This really helped with my anxiety as I do the same thing and now here it is already done. Then there is Richard, who is surly and grouchy. At least that is how he seems, don't let him fool you. He is really even more surly and grouchy, but it entertains you to no end. So go and see em if you're in the area. I know it seems like just a gas station, but stop and talk and meet some great new people.

When entering the Handy Mart stay alert you have a Bojangles and it's parking lot infromt of the pumps there is a subway connected to the HWY 70 side where they somehow squeezed parking spaces into and on the other side is a rode connecting HWY 70 to Food lions. ? Should have taken some photos. In this case, photos ? would have told the whole story.

Has many gas pumps, easy in and out gas bays if towing a boat or large trailer. Lots of sodas, drinks, candy, snacks, cigs, cigars, lotto tickets, cakes, cookies, ice creams, etc. Friendly staff.
