I bought a Western Union money order in January to make a house payment. They wouldn’t take the money order and sent them back. I have had a hell of a time trying to get my $1242 back. I filled out request forms and even paid them but something didn’t go right so here I go again. If you ever get a money order you better be sure they will accept it before you write ANYTHING in the PAY TO THE ORDER OF or you’ll be wanting to pull your hair out trying to get your money back. Oh yeah, I have the receipt from Walmart but they won’t refund me. They will gladly take your money but giving it back is an issue. I will never use Western Union unless someone is sending money to me.

Always fresh produce. As prices go up and up, Harris Teeter has many "specials" to lessen the impact of inflation. The house brand is mostly great but stay away from their instant coffee.

I came in to get a few items. I got two small fruit tarts, and the cashier accidentally flipped it over and ruined them. They were small and for Fourth of July. The manager came over, and he went to get me a replacement as he saw what happened. I completely understood it was an accident and wasn't mad just bummed but at least there was one more at bakery. So they were going to replace it. Angel the manager came out with a whole apology tart. It was very sweet, and not necessary but very appreciated! I love this Harris teeter!

On recent visit the Bathroom had no paper towels not a dispenser. How do the employees that handle food dry their hands?

Absolutely the best Harris Teeter I've ever been in! Yes it's new and very clean, but most importantly the employees were extremely nice and helpful. The girl that was working at the UScan was very nice and helpful. I'm not sure if her name, but kuddos to her!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way my call has been handled,I have been hung up on, put on hold, transferred to phones that have no one there to pick up and take a complaint or give me any assistance whatsoever. I was transferred to the wrong department 4 times. Told I was being transferred to a supervisor and got sent to a spanish speaking agent who could not assist me because of a language barrier. Had to call back again and got the same run around. Got put on hold again and transferred to a ringing phone that was never picked up even after 10 minutes. 4 hours later I have still not been assisted and had to call back several times. And as of right now as I am typing this email, still on the phone supposedly being transferred to a supervisor who is not picking up their phone. One agent earlier gave me a phone number to call the so called Money Order Department that was not a valid phone number. This is not the way to handle your so called valuable customers. I have never in my life had to deal with such incompetence with trying to get a very simple situation solved. It is ridiculous that I was told that if my call got disconnected that I would get a call back. That has not happened. This is not the way that a company as large as Western Union should be treating their customers. I have been using Western Union for many years when I have needed to send money or get a money order. After this customer service experience I can whole heartedly say that I will no longer use Western Union for any reason what so ever. I will go to my bank for any money orders that I need. It is ridiculous that a company that is so large and deals with customers sending and receiving money all day long can not assist with a lost money order. When a customer asks to speak to a supervisor there should be a supervisor available to handle that call. When calling and asking for assistance from Customer Service your agents should be trained to handle all calls. Not just transfer to dead lines where there is no one to pick up the phone. This is absolutely the worst experience that I have ever had with Western Union and will be sure to make it known about the incompetence of your agents and supervisory staff. After a afternoon of trying to resolve an issue, it has still not been taken care of. And I was told by one of the supervisors in the WU call center that I would have to pay a fee of $30 to file a claim to get my money back. I think NOT! I have filed a claim with my bank and expect to be getting my money back. And like I said already I will be sure to make sure that I file complaints with every single Customer complaint board that I can think of as well as the BBB. I will also be taking to social media to make sure that I let it be known of the way that this has been handled so incompetently! Absolutely ridiculous how this was handled, Western Union should be ashamed at the way their customer service call center staff handles calls! Extremely unprofessional . Very dissatisfied with the interactions that I had today. Wells Fargo should be ashamed of the way they handle their business practices!

This is a great smaller Harris Teeter. I love how personable it is just for Carolina Colours. I absolutely love the team at Starbucks. I go there almost daily and I have never had an issue. They are super friendly and always do a great job with my drinks! And nobody has ever skipped me in line. This last reviewer sounds grumpy. I have been to this Harris Teeter multiple times a week since it opened without ever having an issue. And the employees are always friendly and helpful there. And the store manager is always saying hello to everyone. And my sister also goes to the Starbucks there all the time as well without an issue. There is a reason I love this Harris Teeter over the larger one. And this Starbucks over all the others in New Bern.

Fruit and veggies aisles never disappoints. The lady who works this area is the kind of OCD we need in all aspects of veggie fruit stock life. Their $1 mangoes and their variety of fruits and veggies from warmer areas of the world is crazy fresh and so awesome to find. Their cobra coconuts have Always been so fresh. We use grated coconuts on some dishes we make. Their cobra coconuts have been the freshest we've seen in the US. Cobra coconuts are the one that's been peeled off it's husk and let to dry. They sell 2 kinds. None with a lighter shell color. Sand color light brown and one that is dark dark brown. We use the sand color one. I don't know if I'd ever eat the salad bar or the pizza. I went to order sliced pizza to find a fly making a nice resting place on top of the pizza I was about to order. When I mentioned the fly to the lady she said it's something they can't prevent. So. If you get a stomach ache after eating sliced pizza here just think of the awesome larvae flies may have laid onto the sitting pizza, and the fact that their ain't nothing that can be done y'all. There a few things I need to complain about and that's: 1.) Starbucks in store. They need to check the quality of their creamer. Their whipped cream is always watered down not airy and light. Like it's old . I have been sick each time I've ordered caramel macchiato and their caramel Frappuccino. I swear one of their younger white female employee is either high or has lack of sleep. There's something about her service. You repeat your order and then bam she forgets it then you repeat again and it's like talking to a zombie. Anyway. Yeah check on your milk, creamer and maybe even quality of water used for your coffee. Something just always tastes off. 2.) 5 gal water jugs from Deer Park. Like what the heck is up with how dirty and beat your bottles are. They are also super Dee duper dusty dirty. Are the water bottles ever cleaned and sanitized before you refill them? Not sure. Questionable. Oh wait My other compliment does to the seafood fresh meat deli area. The gentlemen there have been very helpful. May I suggest Harris teeter start shopping from local supply!? We're in the Atlantic Coast should we get our salmon and tuna from our own waters? Whyyyyy not. Tuna is not fresh here and so is most of their imported seafood.

Great food. Mondays is hot pizza sale. Fridays, $5 sushi. The salad bar and hot soups are a life saver. Roasted whole chicken and pork loin hot and ready for an effortless hot meal. I love my HT!
