The staff at Suburban Propane was wonderful. The lady in the office was so very kind and helpful. The technician came when planned and was very efficient. Then the deliverer of the propane came the following week as planned and was very nice. I would definitely recommend Suburban Propane for all of your propane needs. They are very professional and so very helpful and kind.

Not good. Called becssuse gauge showed empty. Got fille but was way over charged. They reduced the rate. Told agent my gauge was bad and should be replaced. She told me it would be April before they could repair it. Bad service overall which will likely cause me to change suppliers.

I have been a suburban propane customer for a little over two years now. This review is only based on my most recent encounter as I am on automatic deliveries and pay online. No interaction before now. My last two bills were well over $500 within a month of each other, which was a first. Being nosy I went to the underground tank to check it to find out there is a leak. Immediately call and a tech comes out to address and ends up fixing that night. The following day I receive an invoice for $116. I call the new Bern office in hopes to receive some sort of credit since the leak was happening from the tank which is their property and have the service invoice removed. I was told that I had been transferred to the bayboro office. I was on hold for quite some time before able to speak to someone. I gave her the rundown, she was unable to assist and needed to speak to supervised but expect a call later that day. The day goes by and no follow up call. The week goes by and no follow up call. The following week I call again to speak to someone and they are experiencing a high volume of calls and cannot answer my call at this time. I call again and someone not from the bayboro office answers and tries to transfer me but is unable to due to the high volume calls so I leave a message requesting a call back. Finally a gentleman calls me back and immediately says we're crediting your account $109. I politely let him know that is not going to work as the leak was coming from your tank for who knows how long, I have never received back to back bills in the two years I have lived here and that doesn't even cover the service charge invoice. Once again he will need to follow-up with management and provide a call back. I do receive a call the very next day only to do be told they will only be crediting $109 and no more.To me this is a joke. The leak was outside of my house from an underground tank that is suburbans property. I would not have even noticed the leak if i wasnt being nosy. I have two small children in this house and pregnant and voicing my dissatisfaction about the leak for safety reasons was almost not even heard which felt like they could care less and moving on to the next. Reaching out to suburban multiple times and not receiving a a timely follow-up makes this even more frustrating on top of course not receiving what I feel to be a satisfying resolution.

By the time you added in all the fees/taxes my latest propane delivery worked out to around $11 gallon. Actually that’s an improvement over the last delivery where it came in around $12 gallon. On another note I keep getting calls saying I’m late on my budget payments. Funny thing is when I say that it has already been mailed the reply I get is “ well it takes weeks to post the payment! What” kind of response is that ?George

I called to start service but had to leave a message because no one could help me. No one returned my call after 3 business days. I guess I'll have to move on...
