If I could give this store a 0 I would! I purchased a coffee table the first one came in damaged so it was returned the second one came in supposedly a new one and was told they would put it together since we had to return the other one and we live approximately 20 miles from the store. When we got it home it was scratched on the top and had cobwebs under the table so obviously it was a floor model. After contacting the manager he said he would discount the item and it would reflect on my next bill, my next bill came no discount I called again he said he would take care of it I haven't heard a word back and just got my statement and no discount and there was an insurance charge on there which I never purchased. I should have paid attention to the reviews and went to Greenville! Very poor customer service! will definitely go back to the New Bern store again.

Last weekend was one of the first times I have been in the New Bern Badcock. I found a couch I loved but wanted to look at other furniture stores to make sure I saw everything available. I didn’t see any other couches that compared to the one I found at Badcock. The associate that helped me was Cub and he was fantastic. I ordered my couch and it was delivered 4 days later. I highly recommend!

I have not been in a more unprofessional business in my life . The first person I met walking into the store was complaining about how bad their day was. The second person was too busy on their phone to acknowledge my presence. When I was finally noticed, I asked the person for a recliner. I asked what material the recliner was made out of. He did not know.There was another older lady behind the counter whom I asked what the chair material was, after rolling her eyes she said "fabric". I asked how it can be cleaned and I was told I would have to buy a warranty to keep it clean . I asked what the weight capacity of the chair was ,he did not know. I asked about a powered chair from the second person, who again was on their phone . I volunteered to hook the power battery up to see how the chair worked. It did not. They had to call on a knowledgeable person from the back to get the floor model to work. I was never greeted nor was I thanked for stopping by. This was on a Tuesday at 4pm .

0 stars if I could. Multiple pieces of furniture delivered damaged first go around , second and third time wrong furniture/ more damaged furniture delivered or was damaged by the install crew. Have called literally 7-10 different occasions asking for the manager and he’s never there. Left my number a week ago for a call back the next day and they still never reached out. Took them almost 2 months to have a bedroom set properly ordered and delivered without damage. Do not shop here it’s a huge waste of time and money and was a major inconvenience. People in store have no information on who to reach above the manager and we can’t get anywhere regarding compensation for this horrible purchasing experience.

Don't ever finance through them or you might find a surprise derogatory item on your credit report. I finished my payments in March and without any correspondence they placed $38.00 as past due without me having any knowledge of owing this which dropped my Equifax score by 75 points. This is absolutely unacceptable and may this be a warning to anyone who is considering financing through them. They have lost my business forever.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! bad policy's and bad attitude. Ordered a refrigerator. When the delivery guys came they said it wouldn't fit through the door. I said how about taking the doors off. Saidthey could not do that. Also would not remove the old refrigerator. Plus it was damaged!

I returned all items to the store; mattress and the foundation. The reason is because I got a call on Saturday, March 11th to schedule the day and time of the delivery, which we scheduled between 3:30 and 5:30pm on Tuesday the 14th. At 5:00pm on the 14th, I called the store to ensure my mattress and foundation were still being delivered. I was informed the delivery guys were gone for the day and there was nothing further they could do. They said I never took the call on Saturday, the 11th, to schedule an appointment. I said I did and I spoke with Trey to schedule the delivery. They said they would make me their first stop on Wednesday, the 15th. As soon as they left, I went to put on a waterproof mattress cover and a dust mite cover and saw a hole on the bottom of the mattress. I called the store and they would not answer for 3 times using my cell phone number, almost like they knew it was me, so I used a different number and they picked up immediately. I explained the issue of the hole in the mattress. I told them not to pick up my current mattress until they ordered a new one and to let me know when it was in so we can reschedule delivery of the new mattress and take the old one away. I called Victor, the sales rep I was assigned to in New Bern, NC and he said their guys were out to deliver the new mattress. He put me on hold and the general manager came on the phone. He was the only person this entire time that apologized, but that was only after I said no one apologized during the entire time of having issues from the company. He offered me a discount and I told him I am not interested because I have had enough with the company, and I have moved on with a company with an excellent reputation. Again, he apologized for the breakdown of miscommunication at their location on delivery and for the manufacturer default. I put the mattress and the foundation in the foyer expecting the guys to arrive today to pick them up, but once again, I was let down. I called Badcock back and they said they would be out on Wednesday, the 22nd. Again, I have been dealing with issues even after the merchandise was returned. They sent an email to the financing company stating the foundation was returned, but not the mattress. I called them to let them know ASAP. The general manager said he did not know why that was, but said he would send the email as soon as we got off of the phone. We will see, but the financing company said they, too, would be contacting Badcock to find out what was going on. I am livid with this company, and they are named appropriately! Stay far away!!!

Ms. Kellie is a really good Sales Representative, I have ordered a mattress from October, I wanted to give it a few months before putting in my honest review. The mattress and foundation I chose has been great to sleep on, no problems so far. Every time I come inside, Kellie has spoke to me, she has great personality. She understood my concerns and complaints coming from Mattress Warehouse. I am so glad that I canceled my order with them and decided to Badcock Furniture, my grandmother has always shopped there and I will continue to come here until I move. Thank you!

12/19/2022 I love Badcock and have always had such a great experience even when my bedroom set came in damaged (2) and had several issues with my account being overcharged (even when being promised call-backs about an evaluation of my account) which eventually was refunded after several calls .Today I called to order my daughter a dinette set. I asked for a sales person and Victor responded , how can I help you? I told him I wanted to order a dinette set but was having trouble ordering online.I told him I have ordered online before and after asking if I was signed in (which I stated yes) there was brief pause. His response after that was, is your account up to date? Why would I be ordering if my account was not up to date! His demanor was not friendly in my opinion from the time he answered the phone. I immediately said to him nevermind I will figure out.There was silence on the other end! I said to my daughter while the line was still open I DO NOT LIKE HIS ATTITUDE! The line was still open and I simply hung up!I immediately called the toll free number and was told to check out as a guest and enter my retail credit information! The young man was beyond amazing! To the ladies in the store , to the delivery drivers, and even the warehouse worker I must say have all been SUPER AMAZING! This has just left a bad taste with me! Anybody that knows me I will humbly try to have patience with anyone because we all have bad days but from the beginning of the call he was Blah and it got worse! I will not say I won't ever shop there again but I will not interact with Victor! -(Beyond Perplexed)

Everyone was friendly. They let you shop and checked in on you often but not too much ? Had a great experience. ?Best furniture store in town.
